One of my kittens almost died in a tragic dog accident...:( My dad went in the barn like normal to feed our farm cats. Well anyway there was a stray doberman in the barn that scared the out of him and started to growl and all my dad has was a pitchfork (kinda made me laugh) I was thinking what are you going to do spear the dog if it trys to bite lol.. He thought it was going to bite him I guess. About that time the mom with 6 kittens always has to follow the her around when she gets food. Then the dog finally left my dad alone and right when the cat came in with the kittens the dog scared the crap out of them also and started to chase them down inside the barn. It managed to get one in its mouth and started to flail it around. At that time my dad thought it was dead but IT LIVED. For some reason the dog let it go and it ran. Later I picked it up to see if it was ok and it was (no marks at all) which is amazing for being in a dogs mouth.
Then a couple days later the mom took the 6 kittens for 3 days out in the wilderness. We thought they were never coming backing. My guess is the mom took them on a hunting trip. Then one morning I was looking out the window making breakfest and I saw 1 kitten running down our round. Then a few minutes later I saw another kitten. A kitten came every minute or so until all the kittens arrived. What was really wierd is the mom didn't show up for atleast a half and hour later? I was so confused. |

When I got my cat like 10 years ago, thats how the dog and cat used to play. The cat would jump off of something, the dog (german shepherd) would catch him in his mouth, and gently place him on the ground. |

awwww...my friend brandi found a kitten in the rain and they didn't know if it was a b/g so they named it sammy haha
it died though...
