This was my first time seeing Ferry - I really wasn't sure what to expect other than hearing some older live sets (I missed seeing him in Toronto in September, arr...) - def very impressed! An hour or so into his set, wow, he laid down banging track after track, very intense. I'm for sure planning on seeing him the next time he comes around.
I got to meet a couple TAs...I'd see someone who looked like they knew what tracks were playing and looked pretty into it, and I'd ask "You on tranceaddict?"
Invariably the answer was "Yeah! You?"
Me: "Not yet!" Haha.
Wish I could remember the names though - kaykay, I know you were one of em...I even showed up in one of your pics. I'm the blonde guy in white right above Kel's head (you can see the left half of my face, haha).

Outstanding night :)
NOt one of Ferry's best sets, but shiite even his mediocre sets are better then most peoples best....it was surely enough to keep my ass moving till the lights came on, but it was NOT labour of love caliber. Ferry is never dissapointing, though, and I cant hate just because he threw down in Toronto and I had super high expectations. And of course, he is always super friendly to everyone and I can appreciate that. And always exciting when a DJ remembers who you are....makes ya feel warm and fuzzy inside!! :) :)
and NO JAY I am not getting my breasts signed by him, he has a wife and I reserve that for armin only!! I am NOT a boob-signing freak side show for you!!! LOL I am not here for entertainmment!! :) :)
crowd: holy fakin DRUNK crowd....not a bad crowd in terms of the people (no cracky old asians, no pushy guidos) but DRUNKEN messes everywhere.....holy open bar made everyone trashed, adn probably helped the energy level decrease a bit because no one could dance properly and everyone probably had to go home to pass out/puke/have sex with random people/etc.....lol...

To my regular peoples: always amazing when you guys are around, nothing changes. Thanks to mere for drinking with me for 12 hours after the night was over....wtf we are destroying our selves on a weekly basis!!
Takin a slight break for a while, maybe going to Tyas x2 but staying sober and not staying up till 3 pm for a few weekends...boy I am gonna have some rings around my eyes on monday!!! :nervous: |

Yeah I had a great time; I was pretty pumped I got to meet some people from here. Sounds like Sean Tyas is the next big thing; I'll try and make it if I can. Anyone seen him live before? |

haha nah, EuphoriaX wasn't there that night, i think Blake meant that as a figure of speech (since we have those happy/weird expressions on our faces).
do u mean the guy in the middle of the pic? That's DJ Hai Lee Chen (trancinchink) -- who kicked ass in the Reed Room at Crobar from 10pm-1am. One of our faves on here :D To the left of him is Meredith (phuzzyfish). |
