What brings you over here?

Read barosoap's review for mine. Not impressed, most disappointing Ferry set I've attended as far as I remember. It just wasn't very interesting while we were there for the beginning. I kind of wanted to stick it out, hoping Ferry would turn things around and redeem himself, but barosoap wanted to go because she was bored, plus she was pretty hammered, so we left around 3:30, I think.

Oh, and the VIP bouncer going upstairs near the stage was a bitch. Both barosoap and I had bracelets, and had already been upstairs multiple times, yet for some reason, this guy tried to give me a hard time. He tried to tell me that the bracelet was for being 21+, which made no sense as it was only 21+. I didn't really bother to argue with him longer than 20 seconds, as it was just easier to walk past the doors on the right and go upstairs by way of the staircase at the back of the club. It just annoys me when bouncers try to flex muscle for no reason. They're just pissing off people who go there frequently and end up making crobar even less desirable than it's already been lately.

I didnt pay a dime. So it isnt problem for me.

not having to pay was good but if you put the energy into actually going you could have stayed for at least another hour or so...it did get busier. that's just my opinion though.

i really just tried to bang it out since a lot of people came out to see me. glad most people enjoyed the set.

it was good meeting a bunch of new people... but honestly... most of the night was a blur after my set. i kinda remember bits and pieces but i've already seen a bunch of pictures and i have no recollection of those memories. so if i wasn't responding properly friday, i apologize! didn't mean to be rude.

as lyss said, at least i'm not an angry drunk... :p

here are the tracks and general order i spun them in for anyone who's interested.

Eelke Kleijn & Nick Ogendoorn - The Rhythmshaker
Niklas Harding & Funabashi - Addictive
Andre Visor - Skyline (Funabashi Club Mix)
Frost & Maron - Time Out
Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Rank 1 - Life Less Ordinary
Cosmic Gate - Analog Feel
Aalto - 5
Kuffdam & Plant - The Ones We Loved (Dogzilla Remix)
Marninx pres. Ecco - Intuition (Martin Roth Remix)
E-Craig - Home
O'Callaghan & Kearney - Exactly
Luke Terry - Oblivion
Hai Lee & Andy - Forgetting The Past
Super8 - Alba

i had a great time.. hope to spin again in the near future.

Ferry was absolutely sick, better than Armin was the week before. Redemption ofr a lousy set at Borgata Sept 1. Consistent and strong the whole way through. He always drops Carte Blanche here in NYC, and I love him for it! an absolute classic favorite!
