| Three and half years after it's release I can safely assume enough time has passed for the TA collective to give their final, semi-unbiased review of DJ Tiesto's 2003 mix. I particularly have enjoyed this CD. However, I do recall an incalculable number of folks out there who vocalized their displeasure when this was first released. Listen to the CD again and, especially those who remember when this first came out, let me know what you think of this mix now. |

I still think half of it is good and the other half sucks.

I still can't believe I actually ever paid money for this. |

Agreed
the compromise to put out both a Magik series and ISOS series follow up in the same year, resulted in a half-cocked botch job to combine both.
CD 1 has some nice tracks though - especially showing he didn't lose the ability to dabble in some nice techy-based sounding tracks as well as the run of the mill trance.
It really is just a pity whats happened in the 3 years since... hopefully things are getting back on track now though :) |

| CD1 had a good atmosphere, CD2 lost it imo. |

the mixing is really awful at times. for instance. the transition between Obsession (Frank Biazzi Remix) and Planisphere - Totem.
the tracklist is decent. not something that would make me jump but tracks such as Totem and Acapulco are some of the better ones. |

| See to me, CD2 was so much better, because it better encapsulated what he was playing that year, which led to his spot at number 1. |

I like the one with Nothing (93 Returning Mix) on it.
Good times. |

Mm-hmm. Nyana was the last decent release he put out. |

I loved CD 2. Especially on nights when I just feel like lounging around in the backyard. I honestly think it could have passed for ISOS4, and wish it was becusae the real release was utter :whip: .
That definately was the last decent mix that come from Tiesto... |
