u know what really makes me nervous ??? just the idea we are gonna have to deal with another sucky summerstage like the one this year !!! :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :haha:

u say " armin's style is average " ???? when u say that u r pretty much saying TRANCE is average !!! :conf: :conf:
hip hop is average ,britney spears is average , trance is focking unique mate !!!!
I rather listen to armin's "monotonous hard trance tech sets " as u described them than listening pvd playing the whole "Reflections and politics of dancing albums" :o :o :o in his sets *boring* that to me is standard....

u say u sit half of armin's sets, then im pretty sure u FALL OF asleep half of pvd sets:haha: :haha: :haha: :stongue:

r u ready to listen to the same at roseland ????
nothing but u
we r alive

lol... k. so people are throwing these comments back and forth about why are u attending events when u don't like him, armin isn't boring, etc. etc. does anyone have a response to my post?

i'll copy and paste it again. if you read through, you can see i am not talking about personal taste (track selection), but actual innovation and djing skill.

i would say armin's style is very average in creativity and djing. now going by track selection, i tend to like most of his sets. in terms of doing something unique, trying new things, tricks, fast mixing, interesting blends... etc, then he's average indeed. there's really no difference between armin and any other dj who knows how to beatmatch and mix songs except for the fact that he's armin.

to be honest, pretty much almost every trance dj can be put in the same category as armin. majority of trance dj's don't try new things or push the limits of djing. out of the top trance jocks, i have to say pvd definitely does the most in terms of djing. which is why i always put in him such high regard. as of late, he's kinda been on and off, but i always respect the fact that he's not out there to see who can beatmatch the best.

*edit*

don't get me wrong.. i know pvd by far isn't the most innovative dj, but out of the most popular trance dj's out there, it would have to be him.
