He doesn't play We're Alive all that often. It's Time of Our Lives that he plays all the time.
Also, you misinterpreted what he meant by "average." he meant average trance, not average overall.
And I'm up more during PvD's sets than Armin's. Armin plays slow, emotional prog trance that you PLUR kids seem to drool over. That doesn't always make me want to dance more. While I bitched about the last 2 Summerstages, most of the club gigs I've seen from PvD have topped Armin's. His track selection, while it does usually include those 5 songs out of 50 in a 6 hour set, is usually a lot more diverse than Armin's. |

How old are you? Actually, maybe the following will make more sense since your posts look like something a 14 year old girl would write.

corrected ;).
oh yes... pvd does hit 80 tracks in a 6 hour live set. and that is one of the skills i'm talking about. he's able to mix in far more songs in than any other trance dj in the same amount of time, seamlessly too i might add. |

I'm cool with that correction. :) I was just pulling a number off the top of my head and didn't think out the timing.
That's not including sampling, either, which I've heard him do repeatedly. I definitely remember him sampling Dinky - Acid in My Fridge at Roseland. |

This list is hysterical!!!
Who are these DJs?
- Amadeus
- Offer Nisim
- DJ Szaki
- Wrecked Machines
- Dion Mavath
????
Agnelli & Nelson in the top 100? Have they released anything recently?
There's a psy-trance influence here with Infected and Yahel in the top 30.
This list is really becoming an overrated joke. It's time for DJ mag to either shut it down or institute a list so that DJs that 99% of the dance world have never heard of make it this far up. BTW, anyone have any guess where DJ Mikey Mike will be in the top 250? :haha: :haha: |
