just so you know Free.fr is an isp in France and they have in my opinion the most interesting offer for dsl.
For 35 bucks a month unlimited local and national calls ( excluding cell phones ), unlimited calls to 29 countries, 20 Meg dsl, tv , 1 Gig of storage space and other random stuff.

They just haven't been done right. There's a lot of good material with Calvin and Hobbes that those other comics don't have. There is a lot of depth to the Calvin character, and great potential for a heartfelt story that can also bring a social commentary as the strip so often did.
There may not be a need, but there is great potential.
