Bottome line it is a after hour club and most people are ed but for some reason people choose to pick on the asians which I think is wrong thing to do.I'd have the asian crowd anyday over the "cool white crowd". |
You dear sir are simply out of this world. I have had the worst encounters with the sketchy asians @ guv. I have found asians sleeping in the Bass Bins (Subwoofers) at 4 in the morning. Bumping into a random asian girl, you instantly get surrounded by 4-6 guys in the area.
Trust me man, I've done my time at Guv. The sketched crowd in general is tough to handle, but something that the asians do sets them apart. |

Hate it? No. (except for all access events)
Dislike? Maybe.
Up until fairly recently, Guv was my favorite club. These days, I'd much rather go to Sonic or CZ. When I do make it out to Guv, I find myself spending the majority of the night in the Gallery.
I do however hate all access events. The last 3 or 4 I've been to I just couldn't enjoy myself for a number of reasons. Some include: how crowded it is (gotta go to the bathroom? plan 20mins ahead lol), usually too hot, crowd is a hit/miss etc.
*Note: I know what to expect from Guv and am not complaining, just stating why I choose other venues. |

| I love the Guv.......Main Room is incredible for the lasers......KH is incredible for the layout, especially the crowd proximity to the DJ area :D:D:D |

hahahah that is so true
sure, the asians might get mangled off their rocker but if you dont bother them, they dont bother you. its the same with asians that live in your neighbourhood. they keep to themselves and dont disturb those around them.

hmm, you bump in to a radnom asian girl and a few guys surround you. but does anything happen? most likely not. how many times have i seen a guy try to talk to a white girl and her bf (and his friends) all jump him because her bf is a jealous ? way too many times. so what if they want to sleep in the bass bin? i think if they are even able to tall asleep inside a bin then let them. they arent bothering anyone.
some of you might be thinking im just saying all this because i am asian. no, i hate everyone equally but i just feel that some of you may be a little too rough on the asian population at the guv. and as many of you probably know, i dont really have asian friends. the asians enjoy a good night out as much as any body else. sure they might have a different way of having fun but thats where cultural differences come in to play and people need to learn to accept it or the world could get ugly.
as for the people that complain about all access events at the guv, sure they are sardine cans but that is only because guv is the only club in the city with so many rooms and has the money to book so many djs in one night to make a massive event. |

| after going to guv for over 5 years now i'm likeng it less and less ... on most night that i go i can't stand the main room and i end up in the gallery ...so Gallery > Guv .... and since i discovered how wikkid Sonic is i think it's gonna take one of my fav dj's |
