I just tried it... I got "There are no rooms available for the dates you specified" ... and then it gave me a list of other Starwood Hotels that have availability on that night... :confused: |

Just got 2 VIP tickets. Weird that I can't specify where I want them sent. I'm moving next Saturday and I know they're not going to be at my place before then. Oh well. Roomies will have to grab it for me.

Lot's of times companies will make you think you need to book through them but if you call up and say why you are coming (since I doubt oyu have a special password to give them :p), they will sometimes book it for you and honor the rate.

I actually called them and asked about the giant deal specifically and they said they hadn't heard of any such deal.
But I booked a room anyway since I needed it.
That was about a week ago. I hope they aren't booked yet as I have some friends who are trying to get rooms. |

Hm... at this point, I think it would be better to not depend on the deal that Giant will have. The hotel cost will get higher as NYE approaches and places will get filled up.
But then again, the deal that they advertised seems like a good deal so I can see why people might be holding out. I just don't want people to wait too long and get burned, though... there's enough stress getting to/from a NYE party that night as it is.
It'll be all good once we get in, though!

My question is, since it is technically outdoors, will we be able to smoke... tobacco, of course? And if so, how many TAs would be interested in throwing down some... tobacco... on a big fat blunt... errr cigar... to smoke in the VIP "lounge" at midnight while we watch Sasha and Diggers... I s'pose they can hit it too... and Falkor.. you know that thing likes... tobacco.
