couldnt said it better myself. I think ferry corsten actually talked about the trance scene, and b/c he didnt liek the way it's heading he is trying to change it, Example his last album L.E.F. Tho I didn't really like the album. THis is always a big disput. Everyone always compares trance from late 90's and 2000 to now saying how its not good. But music and what is liked evolves over time. I mean guaranteed, if you played any track by SVD 6 years ago ppl would just stare and prob not liek it for the most part. But today he is one of the most saught after producers, tho again, im not really a big fan of his tech style, where it builds up to nothing as a bigger named dj once said to me. But if you really dont like where the scene is going try to change it, either with yoru sets or producing or both.
Back on marcel woods lol-Drama is def epic, road to chaos on the flip is killer as well. Also Beautiful Mind is pretty good in my opinion. |

Christ, can't we have just one thread for a change where someone doesn't bring up this bull "argument"?
Why would people not be allowed to share their views on something if they haven't made something better themselves? How would that affect their judgement? Surely these people, as music listeners and lovers, know what they like and what they don't, and as such are completely free to express their opinion on something.
You (among many others) seem to take any feedback as some sort of a personal insult which results in you throwing ridiculous comebacks like that. What's the point, really? Just let people think whatever they will - god knows everyone cannot agree with you. |

I never said people were not allowed to share their views, Im saying people should do something about it if they are that ing bothered. The constant moaning/slating isnt going to progress anyone, ever.
I dont take it as a personal insult in the slightest, peoples opinions wont ever affect my views, perhaps its getting your back up because slating the current scene is the easiest thing to do.

Wouldn't the appropriate thing to suggest be "stop listening to it if you don't like it" rather than "why don't you do something better" then? |
