You could have been in line strictly to re-sell it, and if someone offered you that much cash for your spot, you could have just cut out the "finding a buyer" step. |

Yeah I was walking around the area on Wednesday and there was already a line around the block. The people at Circuit City said that some of them had been there since Monday if not earlier WTF! :eyespop: .
What I don't get about that is, if they're on line for a week they clearly don't have jobs... so then how can they afford PS3's :conf: . Maybe work all year, then quit or go on vacation in order to stand on the line *shrugs* :confused: .
There were some kids sitting outside of K-Mart on Astor Place on Wednesday as well. Tonight it was pouring and when I walked by I saw a small tent next to K-Mart where I guess the anxious gamers were waiting.
I know the Circuit City @ Union Sq is giving away 100 PS3's at random for free. I suppose I'd wait in line for something like that, if I didn't have a job to get to in the morning.
Seems this is the most saught after item to sell rather than to keep LOL. Well, I sure don't know anyone who's planning on actually keeping one.
Ah well, good luck to whoever's out there trying to get one :wtf: |

The highest bid on ebay right now is $12,000. $5-6,000 being the minimum price.
I certainly hope that people who are stupid enough to buy one on ebay instead of waiting another few weeks for the second shipment, will get a USA version of the system and not a Japanese version. O_o
A guy used all his vacation days to wait outside. He was the first one in line.
And the last thing on the news was a recorded video shot of a marathon where people would run at the sound of a horn and try to be the first one in line. Looked like over 100 people. One guy hit a pole. Ouchies >_<
Hopefully I can get one before Christmas. If not, Sometime before March :)

Well I my friend had a homeless guy waiting outside for him the whole time and they switched and gave hime 200 for the 1 day and half.
Also I just got off work and these people were going nuts over this system
All gone and also screw the PS3 wating for the Nintendo Wii |
