You know, Bush has probably directly and indirectly killed more people than Saddam ever did... but it's not a size contest, now is it?

Evil deeds are evil deeds.

By the way, your "trial" ended up having to switch the judge because the former judge was convinced that saddam did NOT commit genocide (the offense he is on trial for).

Whether he did or not, I don't know... but tell me, why aren't we doing anything about all the horrible situations going down in Africa?

Oh right, no oil and no strategic geographical advantage.

Yeah. That's what I thought. :D

^^^ A more interesting question is why the pieces of who made all of it possible by training him first to be a CIA-hitman and thug while he was a young gangster in the Baath party, training him in torture techniques too, brining him into power in Iraq where he's becomes a brutal dictator, selling him chemical weapons, and supporting him before and after his genocidal crimes and gasing of the kurds aren't on trial. Cheney and Rummy, having been behind the scenes and several administrations for a while now, since Nixon & Ford, were both intamately involved in all of it. Throw James Baker, Bush 1, and Raegan in there too. If we're going to see justice, those s ought to be tried and not allowed to get away with it.

Can you really use that arugment though?

If I sold you a car and you go out and run someone over with specific intent, should I go on trail for selling you the car?

That and the U.S. is HARDLY the only ones handing out rockets/gas/military goods to that area...they should all go on trail too...

No, they knew exactly what the were doing. Your analogy has no relevance to the situation whatsoever. I love how you apologist act as if it's all a series of accidents and mistakes. It's pretty ing disgusting to have and maintain such a level of ignorance, irrationality, double standards, mindless nationalistic pride, denial, and indoctrination, especially after having been exposed to the facts, so pardon my french. You guys have absolutely no sense of civic responsibility or morality.

Sorry you didn't understand it.
It wasn't meant to have a 'literal' reference.

Not how I feel at all actually.
I'm actually pretty disgusted how the States get blamed for everything and totally forget how there are several other counties in the world that sold a LOT more in that area of the world.
ie.France,Russia, China.

At least we agree on something. :p

i think the US should certainly be punished for all the humanitarian aid it provides to the rest of the world, as well as all the conflicts that have been stopped by their peace-keeping efforts, and even the conflicts that weren't stopped by their efforts.

The US should be punished for providing humanitarian aid?

Obviously they didn't know what they were doing, otherwise he'd have been working for us and we wouldn't have had to remove him from power.

And thugs have smooth interactions and relationships? And don't disobey orders or have disagreements? Or assets don't become disposable after their use expires?
