Most of this *IS* crap.
Personally, I don't think it is a good idea to get pre-conceived notions about what is and isn't acceptable in the bedroom. Different folks like different strokes, so as this may be some things to consider, it isn't the be all and end all of sexuality.
With crap like this, you are putting borders up on an act that should only have borders formed by communication of the two people involved.
In my opinion, the number one rule about sex is COMMUNICATE. You aren't going to satisfy the other person, or yourself if you have no idea what the other person wants/needs.
And relationships, especially sexual, should be about working together and making compromises to satisfy the other.
With crap, (that's right.. I said crap :p) like this, it teaches not so sexually experienced people that things should be a certain way, or that their partner is a bad one because they wont do a certain thing. It teaches people to go against their own instincts of what they want to do, and instead they do what they think they're "supposed" to do.
Anyway, yes there are some good tips and pieces of advice, but for the most part, I think it's junk. |

LOL @ big T. People usually call me little T, but big is ok too :D
Perhaps "boundaries" would have been a better word.
Anyway, these lists aren't really presented as "things that should be discussed" but more like a set out order of acceptable/not acceptable sexual behaviour. If you are really in need of some of these tips in the first place (like keeping yourself clean *ew*), then you probably aren't going to be bright enough to know otherwise. |
