Just got me an Akai MPD24. is the hotness. Serato and my Technics are on the auction block as we speak.

have you guys tried using rewire to mix back and forth between ableton and torq? i know it sounds redundant...im just trying to think of ways to use both and wondering how well it works. the thing is im a big fan of ableton but i can't let go of my cdjs :( .
Zild
Letting go is the hardest part.

Does it automatically "warp" tunes? What if it s up that "warping" can you go fix it?

It auto warps but it does not do it properly unless it is a small loop. You have to manually warp songs but once you get the hang of it it takes less than a minute, probaby about 20 seconds to tell you the truth.

Is this torq or ableton? I use ableton frequently for DJing and production and am very familiar with warping on there, I was just wondering how torq handled that sort of thing.

, with ableton 6 i can warp a tune in like 5 secs :p

Aww I thought we were talking about Ableton.

No, torq you just shift the grid lines over a smidge. Prettttty ing simple.

Yeah its not hard to warp in Ableton at all. I find also right clicking one of the warp markers above the wave form and selecting warp from here, usually gets it pretty spot on especially if doing loops.

Great review RA19. I'm seriously considering following in your footsteps here with Torq.
miamitranceman
And speaking of which...anyone found any place selling for under 300.00 including control cds/vinyl?

SPAWNmaster
im also considering getting torq even more than i was before. im a little unsatisfied with the djm800 as a bridge between cds and ableton so instead of going balls out and getting a xone 3d itd be much easier to use torq and rewire.
i got big pants
^if you get torq...and figure out the rewire and what not...care to post a review of it?
