Yeah I'm sure they still do but I didn't get a reply back from them after I sent an email. Can't imagine it being much lower than 278 anyway. (I hope) :toothless

Yes, agi does and were the cheapest I found. I haven't pulled the trigger but was just curious. You just have to do your research and contact people.

Well, Torq arrived yesterday (Thursday after I placed my order on Sunday night. DJDeals was great in that respect. I read through the entire 88 page manual and I highly recommend for you guys to do the same if you get it. It's really a quick read and explains pretty much everything. I'm running Torq on a 4 year old Dell Inspiron with 768 RAM and 2 ghz with a 5400 rpm hd and it runs great. No hiccups. The only thing I had to do was increase the buffer size slightly to 256 from 128. Not having to burn anymore cds is a huge relief. For now, I can get by with the mouse for activating effects and loops, but I'm already realizing the importance of a midi controller here... maybe down the road...

care to post up a big review once youve got it all settled and whatnot?

ordered mine wednesday from AGI for $250 shipped, along w/ 2x CDJ-200s

torq/conectiv and one cdj are supposed to arrive tuesday (damn holiday). only one, because they didn't know they only had one in stock. so as soon as they get more, they're expediting one to me.

Yea for sure. Honestly, I haven't had enough time to really get into it yet, but I'll certainly let you guys know when I do.

One thing I can add already is that if you browse the official torq-dj forums, there's a win xp tweaks page which suggests all these settings for your laptop to make Torq run as smoothly as possible. I've implemented them and it's like night and day, both for Torq and general computer operation.

Well even with one deck, you can use "Amuptate" mode to mix in Torq with just the one deck. So no worries for a few days while you wait for the other deck.
