gameplay was definitely much better back in the 80s/early 90s compared to now in my opinion.
edit: of course games back then were more excruciatingly frustrating to play since many of them had no save points or long, unintuitive password systems |

Cloud was born on 1st April 1991, so he didn't play those games i guess. That's why he can't compare to really old games.
And for me Virtual Tennis on Dreamcast was best tennis i ever played! I just couldn't turn off console. |

pretty much hands down
i mean, the whole series, but the original one
god damn
i was like 7 or 8 probably when i started playing it, still holds up today
other than that, and for ones that were actually on consoles...
zelda - the original. snes one was good but i still prefer the nes original |
