Capcom Systems - sorta like arcade, think it was around the Super Famicom Era not sure though

It was a speacial type of system put in a arcade machine which was never released anywhere. So most good games from Capcom ran on CPS1 OR 2 which ever was relased in 2000 and Gigawing was a cool game and it was released later on the Dreamcast

Yeah, good marketing and ty games on PS2 and bad marketing and good games leaded Dreamcast to the grave.

That's why do not support Playstation. They just try to remove from market other competitors not with quality of games, but with higher marketing costs. Behind Playstation stands huge Sony Corporation, the same with X-Box and their mother companies can give enough money to their subcompanies.

What? Higher marketing costs? What in the hell?

You DO realize that the gaming industry runs on competition, and that without it companies will just resort to releasing the same every year (kinda like what EA is doing already)

People didnt like Dreamcast. I'm not sure why. Maybe it was because the general public lost trust in Sega after the failures of the 32X and Sega CD and the dismal effort they made with the Saturn. Or maybe its because about 90% of the Dreamcast's library was either available on PSone or was an arcade port. Sonic Adventure 1/2, Phantasy Star Online, Shenmue, and Chu Chu Rocket are practically the ONLY good games the DC had that were entirely exclusive to it.

I'm just saying that you shouldnt hate on a console because it put another competing one out of business. Thats not Sony's fault, thats Sega's.

Don't forget Time Stalkers :)

And Soul Calibre (Yeah, an arcade port, but only available on Dreamcast)

DjAsh, you also forget that Dreamcast was already long dead before PS2 even came out.

Sega waited too long to release the system, it was too expensive for it's time, it didn't have a strong game library, and it was released in that mid-point between generations where people aren't willing to buy a brand new system because they know the companies they already love are just a year or two away from releasing their next consoles. It had nothing to do with Sony's marketing strategies, and had everything to do with Sega's lack of good games. N64 and Playstation were running things just fine before Dreamcast came along, and it's incredibly hard to break into a market when the consumers have already made their choice of favourite current console.

On PS were realeased my favorite games such as Resident Evil 1 (which was later totally reworked and released on Game Cube, damn, i want to play it!), Ridge Racer series (Ridge Racer Revolution, Rage Racer, Ridge Racer 4), Syphon Filter, Tekken 2, Overblood, Tomb Raider series, Pandemonium.

On Dreamcast i played only somewhere near 20 games, but they were so solid! Virtual Tennis, Kiss Psycho Circus, Tomb Raider Chronicles, Soul Calibur, Chu Chu Rocket (still have it and 10 another GDs), Metropolis Street Racer, Omikron. Every game i turned on was really higher than normal game. So i think if i would play all games and that percentage of quality games left the same, than it was very good platform! The same with N64! Playstation decided to provide open politics to developers, and thus had so many unplayable games. Percentage of good games was too small. There was high risk of buying some instead of good game.
