COuld you explain this a little better? I'm a bit confused which what your definition of these words is:

if ive got everything right from reading this thread,
overproduced - technically complex and layered but lacking:
soul - unforced, sincere, geniune sounding (very subjective but whatever)
underproduced - very simple with maybe a nice hook or melody but not much else going on (think As One - 'forever waiting')
substance - the depth of the track. how textured it is and how interesting the composition is overall. |

| actually its because when on drugs u just dont ing care........wat bull are u on about, u can appreciate anything when on drugs but u seriously dont know wats going on. i speak from experience and that is just bull wat u said. |

Spanish culture isn't just European, though. There are a lot of Arab influences on their art and music. Furthermore, I'd be hard pressed to say that a tango moved me to dance simply on the merits of it's rhythm. Maybe it's because I'm just not Spanish. *shrug* |
