The interface runs smooth as silk. |

how cool is it that it knows when you put it up to your ear that you want to use the phone?
FYI
I work for Rogers, we will be picking up this phone but not for a year. |

| Forget the interface and the speed...the device itself is revolutionary...all the devices above are old skool :toothless :toothless :toothless And make you look like a big dork :p |

The landscape/portrait sensor itself is incredible, as is the touch detection.
Revolutionary.
It won't hit huge market share for another generation or two... but this is huge.
I am curious tho... for those using Blackberry, etc. what is the battery life like? |

The Stand By is incredible but the Talk time is average at best. |

HAH!
My ing point-and-shoot camera has a landscape/portrait sensor and it's a about a year old, nor was it revolutionary when it came out. Leave it to Apple to sell existing technology as revolutionary. |

I bet your point-and-shoot camera screen does not work anywhere near as smooth as the new Apple phone. Check the demos on the Apple site. |

Your point and shoot camera is just rotating pictures.
The iPhone is rotating interfaces, video, and photos. |

Revolutionary my ass most wide screen keyboardless PDA Phones can do the landscape/portrait, Palm had touch screens from back in the days. All PDA Phone's batt life is horrific, you got a lot to power up and hi res or mid res screens take a lot to power up. |

WRONG, only the HP unit. Everything else is normal in the bussiness / thugg world. Carrying any APPLE product makes you a DORK or DUMB ASS who doesn't know of anything.
When I see an Apple product on ppl = Moronic dumb ass bitches who doesn't know anything about computers and assume it's all "click and drag" |

The revolutionary stuff isn't the fact it's a touch screen - it's the touch detection and UI design. Also, keyboardless PDA phones are optimized for a stylus... iPhone's touch detection is optimized for just your fingers.
Would you people just watch the ing keynote? |
