Smoke a whole pack to yourself one after another until the whole 25 is gone. Then you will think twice.
Q: Does your gf smoke? |

i got of it by joining a gym with a trainer, never felt better i quit in 2005!
Try not to hang out with smoker friends when they say lets go for a smoke, just decline and say i am going to get something to eat, eat healthy and when urges occur drink water lots of it! |

| For me the real cravings went away in 4-5 days. Afterwards it was more in my head, so it wasnt that hard. |

wow kinda glad i saw this post
my new years resolution was to quit smoking too. i have been smoking since 16 and now im 23..7 years of smoking... ive tried so many times in the past to quit smoking and its lasted 2-3 days max..as of today im smoke free for 10 days. the first few days was hard i must admit..i went out and bought some small Colts cigars, and had 2 since then....but that was around new years time. i get a craving once in a while but i just chew gum.. and i must agree its 100% in your head.. alot of my friends smoke around me and i just tell them " i dont need one" when they offer me one...u need to really make your self belive that you dont need to smoke |

They work like magik to get rid of cravings and reduce withdrawl.
They also work well in social situations because they allow you to focus on the behavioral issues (because the chemical issues are managed by the nicotine substitution system).
Follow the recommended regimen on the package to a T. Do not stop early, do not deviate. |

i also share the same goal for this year. I have still been smoking while going out drinking, but ive been trying really hard not to smoke durring the week. Some days are harder then others, but last night i caved in and had one, and after told myself how gross it was and made myself feel really guilty for having one. Beat yourself up over it whenever you wanna have one/do have one. gum is my new best friend
go team no smoking! |
