| smoke some really stale ciggeretess or a kind that you absolutely hate, if everytime you have an urge to have a smoke you think about that gross taste from the last time you tried to have one during a craving it will be easier to say no :D |

have something to replace the cigarette when you are out with your friends....whether its to chew on a straw or suck on a candy... |
We still have a huge bag of Lollipops left at 317 from the Halloween party that you can have if you want.

I'll do it for free. I thoroughly enjoy physically harming you, especially this way, seeing as how now you wouldn't be able to do it back. So it'a really a win-win situation. You should seriously consider it. Also, I'm more accessible to you than the aforementioned. |

A lot of people say this book, "Allan Carr's Easyway to Stop Smoking" has been very successful in helping them quit.
If you have a spare $424, there's a seminar u can attend in TO next month, money back guarantee.

Wow, a whopping $424. for that kind of money, I think Cale's suggestion would be much more effective:

This week is apparently the National Non-Smoking week until the 27th.
I know me personally, this is the year I want to quit. I haven't totally cut myself off yet, but I have been down to 1 smoke a day since Monday now. I only have about 5 smokes left in my pack and don't wanna go out and buy more. So after the weekend I suppose this means I will have to quit totally :) |

Man I LOVE being smoke-free!! I'm so proud of myself for quitting, I never even THINK about it anymore...except when I'm thinking about how gross it is!
I really love that I truly have no desire to do it anymore. I can't even associate myself with being a smoker. :D :D :D
I feel like a dummy for having done it for so long though. Idiot. |

I felt great when I quit for 2.5 months last summer. Then I went to Amsterdam for holidays. I thought that I would be ok, but I wasn't even landed for 5 hours before I was completely rocked and asking for a smoke. I haven't quit since then :( So now it is time. |

Hang in there. I've smoked for 7 years. I quit on the 3rd of Jan and am on the patch. I have no cravings, not even after drinking or smoking weed or pills. I have about another 4 weeks to go with the patch and then I will see if there are any cravings. I am not one to avoid friends that smoke. Quitting is very hard. I've tried Ziban 3 times, cold turkey 2 times and this is the first time on the patch. I've realized with the patch that for me it is a purely physical addiction and not phycological (having something in my hands, having something to do). I am hoping it will not be too bad once I'm off the patch.
Good luck to all the quitters out there. I beleive in you and so do others.
P.S. Smoking is a digusting habit and I'd love to see cigarette outlawed, which will not happen any time soon. |

Aw I feel the same way. I quit for a while, but one night, I got drunk and started smoking, and got re-addicted. Now I am trying to quit. It's reeeeeally difficult for me. :( I need more will power I guess. |
