oh yea - I learned just a while ago that they played an after-hours party along w/ Thrillseekers until 9:30am... kinda kicking myself for not going... but damn I woulda been dead there. I barely survived the last one after Andy Moor. :< |

it was my first time at vision...and i had no idea i was in the wrong room (the dome room) until thrillseekers was all ready on...whoops
atleast now i know for next time |

happened to me the first time too, man. with one little difference.. we never found the main room.  we went home. that place is a f'ing maze. |

whaaaat?! wow.. that would have been sick. although from about 4:30 onward i was chillin with blake and then with some friends before leaving.
amazing night, i am so glad i dragged two of my friends there too, that was their first experience to the kind of trance that brought me into the scene almost 10 years ago. good to see some TAs out too, the place was bangin all night.

On the whole, a really great night.
Blake - Missed pretty much all of your set - got there as you were dropping the Prydz track - from the look and mood of the crowd it seemed like you dropped a great opening set.
Thrillseekers - Opened with G&Ds remix of "Read my Mind" (I think). I thought the set was great at times, lots of banging trance. I heard Koglin's remix of "Touch Me" and "Love you More." I don't know, I enjoyed the set but wasn't blown away.
Above & Beyond - Really enjoyed their set. Though, and this has to do with Delobbo's comment, A&B is much more my preferred style of trance - which is the major factor behind my enjoyment. Anyway, i was hooked from "Chicago" onward. I also thought their crowd interaction was amazing, Tony kissed my gf on the cheek, took time to chat with me about their set and gave us autographs (which was just really sweet/awesome). My first time seeing them and already I can't wait to catch them at Bed during conference. Here's a list of tracks I heard (other than the ones already mentioned). They're in no particular order.
A&B - Good for Me, Home (club mix?), Can't Sleep, Alone Tonight, Tri-State, World on Fire (Maor Levi Remix)

oh, my bad. I was towards the back and standing behind a row of giants so I wasn't completely sure. Glad you played it though, it's been a favorite remix of mine recently. |
