Above & Beyond - Really enjoyed their set. Though, and this has to do with Delobbo's comment, A&B is much more my preferred style of trance - which is the major factor behind my enjoyment.

Funny thing is, I got into A&B because of their early "harder" sound, for lack of a better explanation. Could probably also be called "bangin'" - hell they even called some of their remixes that (e.g. Razorfish) but I don't think this describes all of those tracks. The remixes that really made me notice them were Madonna "What it feels like for a girl", Aurora "Ordinary World" and Oceanlab "Clear Blue Water". These are all very different sound than their Tristate stuff. But, I know most of the newer trance falls under this new smoother style.

that's interesting. I don't really know much about their early style, I have their em from '04 (good stuff) but that was about it until a month ago.

Their Tri-State stuff is hit or miss, imo. I enjoy Can't Sleep (ATBs remix is good) but "Good for Me" is kind of boring though that mashup called "A Good Ending" is quite nice.

I enjoy what little I've heard of their radio show though, I think they have a good ear for tracks (Mystique, Megashira to name two examples from Saturday). Anyway, I'll definitely check out their earlier stuff so I have some basis for comparison.
