Funny thing is, I got into A&B because of their early "harder" sound, for lack of a better explanation. Could probably also be called "bangin'" - hell they even called some of their remixes that (e.g. Razorfish) but I don't think this describes all of those tracks. The remixes that really made me notice them were Madonna "What it feels like for a girl", Aurora "Ordinary World" and Oceanlab "Clear Blue Water". These are all very different sound than their Tristate stuff. But, I know most of the newer trance falls under this new smoother style.

Tristate is basically an anomaly for A&B. I listen to Trance Around the World about every week and they still bang it out there with a few more proggie tracks now-and-then. I personally prefer the more prog stuff (yah, like you didn't know that) but great shows nonetheless. One thing hasn't changed though: A&B can still work the vocals like butta!

well it looks like the anomaly has got them some new fans - fans who wouldn't have been into them otherwise?

btw I never seen as many jesus poses as I did at this show... I think Steve must have done it like, 100 times.

Is that counting the jumping jesus pose??? He got sum serious air time on those.

Awesome opening set blake, totally unexpecting to hear "Remember" but it was magik to my ears. the Thrillseekers was/were(what's with the plural?) just amazing, great set, non stop energy from beginning to end. A&B was good, but the thrillseekers overshadowed them. But they kept that party goin. Afterhours looks saweet, lucky bastards that were able to experience that. CAN'T SLEEP, light coming throw a window, a makeshift dj booth.. classic.

Agreed one of the best trance parties, at least that i have been to. great times, and the month is not even over...

My only complaint is that your pics aren't up yet! :D I see that you have an album marked for them. You going to have time to put those up this week? I need some Jesus Helstrip! Regards.
