| I really dont like it. BT is overhyped 4 years now. His last good tune was 'Mercury & Solace' and that jus because of da wikked Quivver Mixes this year. Tunes like 'Calling Your Name' will always be big, but dont like any of his 21th century stuff. Also tis tune I really cant stand. |

i liked this tune a bit the first time i heard it because it was something different, but i later realized that i didn't really enjoy the difference that much.
I think the rough sounds in this (and most other on the album) overdrive the nice chillout feeling and it fail at it's purpose (to be a chillout/ambient album).
Anyway, this might be me who is oldfasioned and not openminded enough for new twists. |

agreed. TBU is an exploration of many genres including jazz, breaks, ambient, etc, etc. Just because there isn't a 4/4 kick doesn't mean it's not epic at parts.
I really think the Antikythera Mechanism nomination should be seen as a nomination of the whole album. I personally think Good Morning Kaia is the best of the album and one of the most emotional and heartfelt pieces of music I've heard in awhile. |

yeah it seems like most people decided to vote for it because it was getting the most votes at the start and it would help catapult a TBU track into the poll. which is fine because its a great track and it represents the album well.
I personally thought All That Makes Us Human Continues was the best song on the album and I voted for it but im happy with any track from TBU making it as theyre all great tunes |

All That Makes Us Human is a good song as well, but I think the most interesting aspect of that track was that is was made with CSound |

To me it seems like the purpose is to be a downtempo/chillout album, but i find it hard to relax to because of the rough effects who i believe overdrives the smooth feel.
Anyway, this is my controversial opinion and it will most likely not change nomatter how well your arguments might be. |
