and my point is that with this forums' intended audience that a trance song would usually be expected to win the polls. is that so hard to comprehend for you people?
u guys seem to bag the other songs that u hate so theres nothing wrong with me bagging this song, so please stfu with this "nonsensical" crap. although this song might be good for background music in a movie ;) |

To be fair, he does have half a point in that it's unlikely to be the precise favourite of everyone who voted for it. Of course, that point is tripped up by the fact that you can say the exact same about every track in the poll. |

So if you're going to choose a non-trance track that a lot of people can get behind and agree was a great track, something from This Binary Universe is more logical than trying to nominate an idiosyncratic favourite Kode9 track half of everyone won't even have heard. It's a case of putting aside personal choices and getting behind a track that wasn't your favourite, but was at least very enjoyable.
EDIT: I'd also out vital verbs from my sentences. |

i dont think any of those tracks would have been many people's favourite of the whole year. that was my whole ing point, this year's polls suck!

I must say that's a horrifically poor analogy. I severely doubt anyone here is biologically biased towards BT.
Furthermore, I don't think that's automatically true at all. It's a big assumption that everyone likes the unusual. A lot of people like the familiar over the unfamiliar. They also often like things that are similar to their existing favourites, hence the billion and one "More tunes like this?" threads.
I voted for it, and I know for sure my vote had nothing to do with the novelty factor. But then, it had nothing to do with the "don't let the idiots win" motivation, as Mikey Mike so tactfully put it. |
