| the same generation of parents that allows the television to teach their kids all they will need to know. what happen to the days of finger paint and hide and seek. I watch kids these days screaming and throwing fits because they don't get the toys they want. you know those power wheels kids get now??? Guess what I used when I was a kid....a box with circles drawn on the front. That was my car!!! LOL!! I agree with you on this. Parents are out of control. My sister has three kids now and it amazes me the she lets them get away with. I wonder if we were raised by the same mom. |

Anyhow, I don't think any parent with young kids should be going out and drinking or doing drugs on a regular basis. Stay home and take care of your kids damnit, they need you more than partying does especially if you are bitching cuz you have no money.. where the are your priorities?!?! |

I see it here all the time. Sad parents using kids for money, in a inconspicuous way. I've seen families go on welfare yet still drive around sexy cars and go on bi-yearly trips to exotic locations. BITCH PLEASE. You're telling me that you're a sad enough ,lazy case to go on welfare than to get off your ass and work for what you want. And the parents who have kid after kid after kid ( my mother is friends with this sad pathetic women like this) just so the government can send them money month after month ( or is it once a year? ).
There was a women who drove her daughter to school ( this was when I did a year of HS here) in a really nice benz ( I don't like them, but it was a nice pricey car) and yet her kid never had food, nor did she wear nice clothes ( as in always dirty, or holes in them, hand me down type of clothes ) and was not very clean, so it seemed as though they lived in a dump. Well we were talking one day and she told me her family was on welfare, so I butted in and asked why her mom drove such a nice car, and she said that her mom works enough just so that the government sees that she's trying to get her life together, but is still poor enough that she needs their help, and with THAT money , she pays for her car. Her mom was and is fully capable to work like a proper women, she just decides not to, and in the process, declines her daughter of the necessities she needs in life. |

Exactly, I remember a few times when I had to help out friends, who aren't even flesh and blood. So when it comes to my own family, especially my in kids, best believe they shall be top priority. My god some people are ridiculously stupid. These are the people who deserve dumb happen to them. |

nah, she already knew.Both parties have moved on.This thread is nothing more than it states.If it wasn't for the really good money i would have quit already.If this thread could be considered applicable to certain parties i won't name its coincidental.I'm actually curious to know all your opinions because the problem has reached epedemic proportions.Magikb is right, if i told you how many ill headed womwn are out doing god knows what when their kids are asleep you would be amazed.Why have a kid in the first place if you don't care about them....or can't. |

I used to date a skank that had a kid & she always partied with me. Every saturday night she would come out with me & eat pills or get hammered. She just assumed that her parents were home that everything would be ok. Even though that kid was born from a skank like her, one day the kids gonna realize that every weekend mom was out partying till who knows when with who knows who, while grandma & granpa were home with me. |

You just described an uncle of mine to a T. He's started turning himself around now and he's off of welfare. The only problem is that he's in his early 40's and just now realizing that he's ed his life up. |

i have been in this situation 2 times, once the grandparents adopted the child.I think it was the best for it to develop into an all around decent member of society.No more being a rent a dad for me.The thing is you get really attached to the kid, and even when things sour you tend to worry about them.I restate what i already did before.Everything should be done today to prevent single mothers having children under the age of 25.I haven't been on the job long, bbut combined with personal experiences i am so depressed that so many children will grow up unbalanced due to mothers (or fathers although rare they get custody) with absolutely no sense of knowing what being a responsible parent is.When the child fins out mommy or daddy did pills all night and god knows what else, what do you think they will do....go to church?Not lkely. this world is looking more and more like a maury episode..so sad. |

How can you say abortion is not a good thing, and in the same post go on about how these negligent parents are treating their children like garbage? Even to make a statment like "declines her daughter of the necessities she needs in life." Doesn't that send you a massive signal that perhaps these people shouldn't have children?!
Sorry to those of you who are anti-abortion, but I think that abortion is a good thing.
Guess what!!! As much as you all may think that people who don't want, or shouldn't have kids should just keep their legs closed (I agree), they aren't going to... and there really isn't all you can do about it. That is why abortion is a good option.
I would much rather see that these unwanted children are not brought into this world rather than see them mistreated, abused, abandoned etc. to later become dysfunctional adults.
As a clump of cells, you don't have feelings or opinions. Dispose of the clump if you can't be bothered to take care of the human it might turn into. |
