Um no.
If you don't like RAP, that's cool, a lot of people don't like Rap. But it doesn't mean that it sucks as a genre and is the cause of corrupting the youth of America. If the youth fall for or are ignorant enough to believe what Mr. Fiddy cent is rapping about, then they are not properly educated and taught that lyrics are lyrics and rappers get paid to write what they write. Ya Music is powerful and can have a very strong effect on you, but to the point of corrupting someone and turning them into monsters, no. That's like blaming all the school shootings on Punk and heavy metal music. |

Electronic music is evil. These days, young clubbers go out and take drugs, and dance to hedonistic repetitive tunes purely designed to RUIN LIVES.
Where are the good old days? Hell, back in the 50s it was all about having a good time. It's so disappointing to see what music has become. And believe me, I know the power music has over a person, first hand.
It's a bit personal, but to this day, whenever I see Tiesto I have to immediately put my hands in the air. Yes, I'm embarrassed, but I'm trying my best to overcome this terrible affliction, and point society in a better direction. |

I'm not on or against your side, I'm simply stating my opinion along side yours, but you just need to be more open minded. And you are wrong, you cannot always get 50 cent or Scarface as an answer. My cousin, who lives in Indiana, will be 14 next week and she despises rap music to the fullest and with a huge passion, and I doubt she will idolize him in 3 days. she doesn't think it sucks as a whole, she just doesn't like it. So you need to stop stereotyping.

Fan or not, who doesn't put their hands in the air for Tiesto? lol. j\k, but yes I do to. And I miss the days ( Ok, I didn't live in the 50,60,70's) where it was all about the simplicity of the music, and the feel of the rhythm. |
