Definatly agree with you here. Although I do love Control Freak...his other singles were not up to par IMO. And his live sets...although when I saw him at Dragonfly in the summer, it was the best I've ever heard him, the other sets I've heard were snooze fests for me. Definatly nothing spectacular |
I rather enjoyed a few of them. Control Freak (atleast the SVD remix)rocked every club, This World is Watching Me was definatley the BEST of all his, Saturday Night had a nice beat that wasn't cheese but playable, and Love You More even started to stick in my head.
I didn't like
1. Sean Tyas (Please come up with something new already  )
2. Gabriel & Dresden
Wasn't dissappointed by, but woulda liked to have heard more by:
1. Ron Van Den Bueken
2. The Thrillseekers
3. Matt Darey
4. Tiesto
5. Mike Foyle
5. Blank & Jones |

1) Tiesto - He was a big let down at dragonfly.
2) Ferry Corsten - Saw him in San Fran last month and he spent more time trying to make the perfect heart with his fingers than picking out the correct cd to actually have a flow to his set. I think i keep catching him on his of days.
3) Armin - Still my favorite as far as DJ sets are concerned but besides Hymn, i didnt like a single one of his productions last year.
4) Markus Schulz - He destroyed me at LOL in '05 but was terrible at monster massive. His TL was terrible and he seemed completely out of it. |

Josh (Shanny) and I were talking about this a little while ago. In 2005 they weer going really strong...some great productions as well as live sets, but this year they didn't seem to do much of anything.

You were at Monster Massive? Laura and I ripped the set off that website...I loved it! (However, that has nothing to do with Markus Schulz) |

George Chaker @ Gallery is the only one that really sticks out in my head as being . Holy no flow whatsoever and boots in the dryer. |
Hahahahaha...yeah that was goddamn aweful. What makes it even funnier is how all the morons in the Gallery ate that right up. |

There are many morons in the city that have been brain washed and contributed to the success of local dj's that hold these exact traits. That deserves a big LOL |

1. Armin
-Except for Control Freak (Which SvD had to make a good remix to make it anything worthy), all his productions reeked of pure cheese
2. Sean Tyas
-tried to remix pretty much any remix by adding a harder kick.
3. Sasha
-barely any tunes worth noting
4. Danny Howells
-ditto
5. Starkillers/Austin Leeds/Terranova
-all the electro tunes sound pretty much the same |

1. Tiesto (Keep hangin out with P. Diddy, and Ill keep losing interest).
2. Armin- (Would have spun better at LoL if he closed out.)
3. Oakenfold- (Consistently crappy) |
