couple years ago he played in montreal, he played this tune thought he was really digging but the crowd, even at the front was barely moving...he even made a sleeping gesture to the crowd

strongly disagree :P
Paulinho
Tiesto at the Docks in May was the worst EDM event i've ever been to...that was his last chance for me and he in sucked

I was also hugely disappointed with Ferry's L.E.F. album...the only good tune on it is the title track...His set at LOL 06 was ok...I thought Armin put down a better set than Ferry that night

Deep Dish stink...not a big fan and I don't understand the hype with these guys

the hype is the same with almost all the big name DJs, they were awesome and now living off of who they were, not who they are

...what happened?
i was really hooked on his , buying everything and anticipating each new release. i had really high hopes for him n 2006.
then he released his full length at the end of 2005. it had some amazing tunes on it, like 'now its not summer' and 'circle of life', but for the most part i thought it was pretty crappy.
after that, he steadily declined in his quality of output and i dont even bother listening to his new stuff anymore.

I caught him in Sept for his only North American show and while yes, some of his productions are a little off he still released some ill this year and spun a greeeeat show in montreal.

He's been putting out dope on his aliases (Hug & Kaliber to name a few) and look at what his label has been doing!

huuge releases like this one

i'd say he's one of the hardest working up and coming artists in tech house atm.

trust me i know all about everything hes doing, ive been following his career for a few years but i dont really like any of the stuff he did in 06, especially none of the stuff that came out on pickadoll, whether they were his own releases or stuff he signed. pickadoll and kaliber jd just sounds like crappy circus music for freaks on acid to me. i like most of the jackmoves stuff though.
i just heard the new Hug album 'heroes' on Kompakt and there are some really good tracks on it, but most of it didnt sound too good to me.
