i probably should have included that as an option... but since i made this poll after the other thread and it seemed like there were enough people complaining about the influx of video threads, i basically just wanted to get an idea of where else people would like to see the video threads. |

that's what i was hoping for.
but think about this. we already have the funny/humour forum. and that doesn't get used nearly as much as it perhaps should. I just see that happening w/ the youtube thing. just because there's another subforum for it, doesn't mean it'll get used that much.
this also is a trend w/ the technology/sports/gaming forums as well. really, out of that whole section in the forums, the PDD gets used the most. but even w/ that, we still get the same stuff in the c0r.
perhaps, upon more thought, the sticky thread will work better. kinda like the "post your picatrds" and "sig" stickies at the top.
perhaps my biggest beef is that when i make c0r news, i don't want to have to put it in some special place. it should be able to have its own thread. |

there's a difference when it comes to things like that, cause it's original content, and not just another random thing someone found on youtube. |

hah i doubt everyone will follow whichever option wins. I'd rather see a sticky thread, cause not many people will visit a forum with just videos in it.
Still I like it like it is now.
No more 'post your videos' threads in the core ? no more 'post your fav 80s videos' ? no more posting videos that illustrate your point ? |

This has already been answered a couple times, but no.
The point of this is to minimize the number of threads that consist of nothing more than a video and an emoticon.
Honestly, if that's all you have to post - you probably shouldn't be posting in the first place. |

well, if it is something you find amusing and/or interesting, and you would like to share it with everybody else, i see no problem with it.
Though, one could write more than "roflmaorg :lololol::stongue: :stongue:", thats true.
One thing that we could introduce is a message icon that had the youtube logo, or something of that sort, to 'warn' others that it is a video clip. |

The people who frequent the 'funny' forum aren't always the same as here, it's always been like that, which is why a lot of these humour threads end up here, when they're made by those who're more likely to be in the cor. A small subforum inside the cor would keep it better imo. |

The problem is that most people don't write anything more than that - and inevitably the best response in threads like that reads something like this:
