18 pages already??

Anyway... I had fun.

- Talla had the set of the night for me!
- Didn't hear much of Sander K or Max Graham, but whatever I did hear sounded good.
- B&J - set lacked flow and track selection was suspect. I still danced my a** off.
- Sydney Blu had the Gallery rockin'

The venue was nicely dressed up. Good job!

It was especially nice seeing some folks I hadn't seen in a while - Ben, John, Maria and Sonja, to name a few. It was great seeing everyone else as well. :)

LOL, love it. So true.

I would have never believed Max Graham played that well either tho unless I heard some of it for myself...I must have seen this guy 20 times, and he was responsible for some of the trashiest sets I have ever heard. Was playing well last night tho.

And sasha, u are a good guy but man are you missing out on some sick talent when you see things that way.

Never makes any sense to me to listen to Sydney, Jelo, or Manzone and Strong for the thousandth consecutive week when we got high class event DJ's...To each his own I guess.

Max Graham is usually very good. As for local djs they are many times a LOT better than the really really inconsistent international headliners that come by. More so in recent times. Not to mention that Guv brings the same djs back to play every year. BRING SOMEONE ELSE TO PLAY GODDAMN IT. (Max Graham was a good choice b/c he hasn't been at Guv in a while).

This is what I don't like. There HAS to be consistency, it's how they became famous to begin with. A lot of the trance djs (hell 3/4 of them that have been here that I've seen) have been insanely inconsistent and put just pump out crap setwise. Although I liked what few tracks I did hear (mostly from Talla) I can't say much more because I wasn't there for the entire set for most djs in KH.

It almost started out as disappointing night, but ended up being by far the best party I've been to this year...

-Line up getting into KH went smoother than I thought
-Getting to the main room/gallery was absolute madness (when Sander hit the decks)...
-Talla destroyed my body and gave me chills...rocked it out with so many TAs -- effin' unbelievable!
-Perseverance does pay off: Sander rocked my socks. I agree that his dvdjs weren't as good as Decadence, however I did like the fact that he was dropping harder, and darker tunes. Loved it! I was happy to share the floor with some of the clowns and my favourite people :)
-Highlight of my night: meeting and taking a pic w/Sander and Jenn... thank you cribby <3
-I wanted to stay for Max Graham...but the main room was too much for me to handle :(
-B&J --- :D :D for the most part a very energetic set with wicked crowd interaction...however I wasn't feeling the remix of Mr. Brighside spun though...(great dancing and meeting more TAs)
-Left to check out the Drink (nice job with the reno) and ended my evening at Gallery for a bit of Ms. Blu's set...:D:D
-Communication was played twice...both times I had my hands in the air ;)

It was soooo fun dancing up a storm with the usual suspects and clowns and meeting more TAs :)

I've been officially ultraspun and I'm definitely looking forward to the next one :)

While I was unimpressed by Sander's set (compared to Stereo this past summer) I still had a great night.

Met a bunch of good friends for pre-drinks, got into Guv without a problem or much of a line, and was promptly greeted with a bigass hug from MagikJenn within minutes of getting into KH!

The trance was a fun, guilty pleasure. I don't listen to it much anymore but , it still puts a smile on my face and keeps me dancin'.

The night ended with another big hug from Jenn :)

All in all, it was a solid last party for me in Toronto.

Great tunes, great friends.

Hehehe. I saw you once or twice. I did a lot of wandering, and didn't get a chance to see the people I wanted to see. And if I did, it was only for a brief moment. Sorry! :(

Dude, that was MY 20,....

Got in about 1 or so. The night started out pretty rough i'd say, ... after almost being kicked out, and saving myself from the madness at the guv, I went into KH where i spent majority of my time.

Definately heard some awesome tunes from the sets by Graham, Tala, B&J, and Rank 1.

It was also great to bump into, and to party with some of the Fellow TA's... :toocool:

I'm not smart.

I'm also not ignarant.

and i also happen to know that at least one of thee DJs that person listed has:

- signed music to multinational record labels
- plays largely unreleased music in their dj sets
- has commercially released mix cds under their belt
- Has and continues to Dj all over North America, Europe and Asia
- Is A&R for a very well known electro/techno record label
- Has licensed original productions to commercially released mix CDs by John Aquaviva, Bad Boy Bill, Glaude among others

oh and they also remixed international recording artists. One of whom has been nominated for a grammy and sold millions of albums, and one of their remixes for that artist has been licensed to several massive european dance compilations as well as once major US one which combined have sold over 1 million copies so far.

i wasn't arguing against you in that local vs. international debate, that's not on my interest list right now
you were just rude without a reason, calling someone a dumbass just because you don't agree with isn't very nice
