I won't be back to another big show there. Being rapped for money at the door pisses me off. The bouncers are total s...what else is new...one bouncer had to be pulled off a guy while trying to break his ankle...can't figure out why someone shot a bouncer a few years back...the place was way over-packed. Sketchy, ignorant asians that make dirty faces at you...wait, that happens every week, scratch that one. Ummm, the music, as far as I am concerned wasn't that great, didn't suck either, though.
There are always good things to relfect on, like the cool conversation I had with one dude, or having the girl security grab my balls fully and completey, but I really don't recommend going to a big promotion there. It was my last. |

Is she on anti-depressants? Some anti-depressants (such as Effexor) can mute the effects of MDMA. |

I had the most amazing night. We paid the bouncers 20 bucks and they let us right by all kinds of people in line, it was awesome.
Then when we got in they were charging more cover than they advertised, no big deal, with this talent lineup, 20 bucks is a steal. Who the pulls this off so well? Seriously, its like I'm going clubbing in a magical world where everything is perfect and mr rogers is the manager.
Inside it just got better from there. Crowds were friendly and super patient, letting one another go by, it was comfortable, the bouncers did a great job of mainaining order, and the nitrous cannon is too awesome, all five times it went off.
Guvernment has to be one of the most multicultural clubs in the city. What a great mix of people they bring together every week.
Its so inspiring, total PLUR.
Guv, Guv, when will you let us repay you for such a good night. |

I tried to stick around to see if I could spot charles on the dancefloor as he said he likes to do in Addy's video. but then I realized Addy wasn't playing so Charles wouldn't be dancing and I booked it home. |

Have you ever tried telling your friend maybe she should try going to the club to dance and enjoy the music and not the drugs?
Does your friend have a drug problem? Does she need help? You need to find these things out.
Or next time tell her she should try hooping like jennypie said. I'm sure she'll love it and she'll finally get ed up(excuse the dirty pun). Remember to tell her though - if she uses something to hoop her drugs with, not to share it!
Be sure to come back and tell us if she does though. I'm sure there are a few people here who are secretly inquiring about this hooping business and would like to know how it turns out. Thanks. |
