I was looking into a ringtone I heard about, and saw on TV on CSI I believe, that teens and young adults can hear, but others can't. I finally found more about it, and I am totally floored by this now.
How many people can hear this MP3?
I can't. The complete CBS article on this in January can be read here.
Can you hear it? Age? I can't hear sh!t... please tell me it's because of my laptop speakers.
Do you use such a ring tone so your teacher or prof can't hear in class?

yes i can hear it, its a very annoying sound that makes my ears bleed
ive read about this before, there are certain sounds that we cant hear once we age
there was a site with 10 samples where you could see what you can hear |

yeah that sound is uber annoying. the highest ultrasonic one i can hear is 18.8
edit: now that i've actually turned up my speakers i'm at 19.9. yay. |

For the record, that was a very annoying sound. Good to know that I still got some of my hearing though. |
