The problem with what youre trying to suggest is that the data doesnt even exist. We have never had, nor has anyone else had, any kind of sensor in space looking directly at the sun and monitoring variation in solar flux. In fact, even if we did, it would have only been since the 1970s because satellites didnt even EXIST before then.
What I suggest to you is actually reading the IPCC SPM, instead of listening to all the bull you hear on TV, eh?
One more thing. If the IPCC was all made up of politicians, dont you think that these politicians would be doing something about it? I mean, since THEYRE the one's writing it, right? Did you know that the US currently has no carbon policy? The the Clean Air Act does not even talk about greenhouse gas? That any company can emit however much they want within our borders? For a group of people that are so convinced about global warming, I would have expected some changes since the LAST IPCC assessment report 7 years ago. |
people monitor the sun spots via ...telescope, and on earth easily.
they were studying sunspots in 1800s.
and as for politicians?

| Haven't we had the 5 of the warmest winters on record during this last decade? or was that a hoax too? btw it was 70 degrees today, a little strange for the middle of march? |

like previously stated,
random, one or 4 day warmer or colder days are not attributed to global warming/climate change.
just because you have a few "warm" days doesn't prove anything except that there's a ridge building to your north and you're getting WAA from the south
just like last month, when everyone was bitching about the snow and the cold and they're like, "OMG WHERE'S GLOBAL WARMING NOW!?"
it's just an artic low people. get over it.

however, if everyday was warmer by at least 2F....for an entire year. then maybe....just MAYBE...you can attribute it to climate change. |

Whats really interesting (and somewhat scary) is that its not just going to get warmer, the extremes are going to become more frequent. |

but thats because the suns radiation levels have doubled in the past 100 years, not because of humans ;)

what upsets me is that people think this going to happen...like...tomorrow.
i still think we need to give research another 100 years. by then, it'll be too late and we'll all be dead. but i just think we can get a better understanding of global weather if the record books go not just from ~1880-2007....but from ~1880-2080. |
