| If I had to choose one thing I hate about this country(Canada) it'd be that the idea of universal health care was conceived with the thought that everyone have access to basic health care. Nowhere in Tommy Douglas's vision does it state that we have to fund the most extravagant surgeries and procedures for anyone that wants, or needs them. We need some basic guidelines for health care usage. Cutting programs like eye examanations won't help us curb excessive spending, but converseley, I think limitations will help keep programs in place. Am I crazy? Is this a stupid thought? |

I dont know, I think about giving up my citizenship to the US, but I hold on to it, b/c 1- it is easier on the passport line 2- Social Security (if it is even around then). I know the end of the quote. I can't help out a country when it gets involved in a war I didnt support in the first place, with a government that is corrupt, the list goes on.
This is a thread about what you dont like about your country. I responded, you are being hostile. When you were a kid, perhaps Bush wasn't president (but who knows with your childish response). I liked America before then. I feel it has really let me down. You are being the "ing ".
