vinyl sound is far superior to anything digital. it's sound in its purest and most accurate form. digital media is good for other reasons, namely convinience. with electronic music it's harder to distinguish the difference, but when you're dealing with acoustics, voice and instrumental recordings, vinyl really really shines.

Don't talk about old ..... i'm probably one of the OLDEST TA's in here becos my raving days started in the 1990 with the sfrave. I partied 'til '94 then took a long break after Techno got up to 160+ bpm :nervous:

Finally got back in the scene just recently when EDM started to get my blood flowing again. I never had the urge to play the decks back in the 1990's although I had the pleasure of playing with vinyls back in 1983-1986 when dance music was at 116bpm to 128bpm. Yeah, I'm Old Skull :haha:

I sold all my old 80's vinyls many moons ago. There's just something about vinyls that the digital world can't provide. Beside's the sound quality, I like the wicked covers they used to print.I even remember the time when they first made the first picture vinyl. You know the ones that has the graphics on the actual vinyl. I used to collect 'em.

I got my digital set up now just to play around at home. I'm too lazy to go to the record store to "hunt" for records. I like to convinience of down loading ;) Besides, tower records isn't around anymore :toothless
