Where do I begin... :D
Twins, +1 to your comment, EXACTLY how I feel. Great times! Thx for the CD, I listened to it 1.5 times on the way back to Sac ;)
And finally Taj, your mastery of the decks is unbelievable. Standing up front and just watching your hands on the knobs blew my mind. Unmatched energy level. :eyespop: Like the Twins said, there is nothing better between 3-6am ANYWHERE. Your hospitality to everyone at the club is much appreciated and noticed. The passion you have for the music is radiated when you're spinning.
Thanks to everyone who made my weekend AWESOME! Great to see all the TAs in force and nice meeting all the new ones. |
Your very welcome, I thought you might like that live set by TAJ, glad it kept you going for the drive home. It was nice having you, as well as all the other TAs there...we definitely fed off each other's energy.:wtf: |

First we want to start off by saying that it's such a delightful feeling when we walk into the mainroom to see some many familiar faces all coming together for the same phenomenon, music.
We take pleasure in all its joyfullness, from small talk on the dancefloor, to bouncing up & down to the beat of a track, or looking over class (or trying to look over glass) to see what wicked track Taj is gonna throw down next to taking random mindless memorable pics, simply exchanging small talk between breaths in the lighting booth or wherever.
There's a sense of belonginess & comfort to see the same people making it out to 1015 on a regular basis. We're begining to think there are other people like us out there :-)
Week after week we are drawn to 1015 because we know that there is no other place one can go in the city at 3am-6am that will constantly have the kinda music we wanna hear along with the enthusiam and passion from EDM music lovers and Taj alike.
TAJ, you have really created something special on Saturday nights at 1015. Your striking dedication and connectedness to EDM is continually reinforced with each performance you deliver.
It was nice chatting & joking with you all, thanks for tolerating our random, pointless conversations. It's spring break this week so we'll be well rested next weekend. Look forward to doing it again soon, as well as seeing you all on the dancefloor!:D :toocool: |
+1 -- I couldn't agree more...
I had a great time Saturday night :) It was nice to hangout with all the TAs that were out... I hope to see you all soon. |

This is great. Im glad you guys felt this way about the night. I thank you all again for coming out and your support.
Reading your guys comments, I feel a real sense of relief. No amount of money, drug or high could have made me felt as good as I did Saturday night. Someone told me its like you had something to say, and you did it with your music.
As I build my fanbase, with your support and friends alike, I will always remember 1015 as the place I got my start.
Everyone who came out to the event on Saturday tells me that the community that I have helped to build, that I have loved has love for me too.
On a personal note.
I feel since we are all older now, being at the club together brings us closer together. When I was younger, coming to the club meant watching my favorite Djs tear it up every Friday and Saturday. It also was a time where all of us would gather together and DANCE.
I still dance, just not as hard as I used to. People associated me with the events I attended. Or say, I met you at such and such. I still get people coming up to me saying they remember me from past raves and parties. Mainly my association with 1015.
It was only right that I keep my raver name Blurr as I took the stage as a Dj.
Alot of the ravers I once knew,.. now have families, or are still connected to the music like I am in some way. Some have become Djs, Producers, Nightclub Owners... Working with Major Artist, Public Relations or even like me, have a real daytime job where I interact with clients all the time.
On Saturday I brought one of the senior members of our old dance crew, UGM to the club (UnderGround Movements) to the club with me. Don B (D-Trance) was also my Dance Partner back then. Those of you who remember us back in the day will remember our dance routines were pretty insane at 1015. Getting the rooms going, dancing arriving at 10 to the club and dancing until 3 even 4. Don also used to play along side Cyber Joe. Hes very good and is still a big vinyl junkie too.
This tells me the only thing I need to do is develop the next stage. Producing & Finalizing my Own Tracks.
Its the next phase in developent. I only hope the response I get from my productions are just as heavy as the number of clicks this post has gotten.
Rizen. how are you doing on the photos?
BTW Folks, Dreamingindigital.org is now up. Its very basic right now, but once we finish the look of it all, with all the flash animation and stuff its gonna be awsome. You guys can check it out now if you like. Give me some feedback on it too if you can. |
