Im the "Pictures or shut the up" type of person but I didnt have a camera this time. Yeah it was pretty en awesome night. Ive been up for 27 hours and still counting. Didnt get drunk this time.
Iyad started off slow and pick'd up out of no where and drove the croud nuts. Good Job, Iyad.
As for Blurr..."ING A". Your set was full of energy straight from the start. I dont remember any sleeper tracks in your set. I dont recall ever dancing that hard last night in my life. Thanks for playing Bobina - Ligth house (Sean Tyas Remix) that I requested (I asked for the Dub Mix Damnit). Its always great to see you spin and im proud to support you and your Dj'ing. Keep up the good chit.
For the first time I stayd the whole night becouse of Taj's outstanding set. I didnt want to leave becouse I wanted to know what great song he would play next.
Its always worth the 3 hour drive from Fresno to Frisco to see you guys spin. |

It was an awesome night last night!
Iyad was really good. I liked how it was mellow in the beginning and then he picked it up. Well done!
Blurr had everyone dancing. I loved that you played Good for me and I'll fly with you. I was pleasantly surprised with the latter :) Job well done!
Andriex (I think I spelled your name wrong, sorry), you have to get your lady friends to dance a bit more. Give them more alcohol...haha. I did see them in the hip hop room later on.
Taj, of course, was awesome as always.
I have put up my pics. Here you go:

Great vibe and music last night! From waiting in line with some regulars and TAs to the very end with the main room closing. Iyad was a great opener, and hope he comes back. He reminded me of Jerry Bonham warm up sets for PvD. Blurr starting off with a remix Out of the Blue was great! Good balance of new and classic tracks, especially I'll Fly With You! Even had Marie singing along hehe. Taj, was awesome as always! Third Saturday in row that I lasted haha Thanks again to everyone!
Took a ton of pictures and just left my pocket camera taking video until memory ran out. Going out right now w/ sister then friends later on and will try to go through them late tonight or tomorrow.
Good pictures Adriana and good to read Direct got home safe :) |

WOW I think i can write an essay on this event! :haha: The whole nite i was going crazy
First, Blurr u tore it up man!!! thank you for play that System F....thats my all time favorite song. Its the song that almost makes me cry due to old good memories :happy2: I hope u enjoyed ur set as much as the crowd did. I cant wait until u hit the decks again!
Second, Taj your set was also EPIC! (as it always is) Of course i went nutz when u played child again! that song never gets old. I also cant wait until next weekend to see Taj spin again....gunna be another awesome weekend!
One of the best parts of the nite wast the fact that most of the TA's stayed a while and danced their asses off! Andrieux how was ur weekend man?! we went "ape" like we planned!! Gilbert i cant wait to see your vids and pics. The pics with your new camera are so crisp and clear! They better be since u have to carry it around in that big case (like your getting paid or something!! haha). All in All it was another great nite at 1015....Hope to see all the TA's next weekend for local love!!! |

First we want to start off by saying that it's such a delightful feeling when we walk into the mainroom to see some many familiar faces all coming together for the same phenomenon, music.
We take pleasure in all its joyfullness, from small talk on the dancefloor, to bouncing up & down to the beat of a track, or looking over class (or trying to look over glass) to see what wicked track Taj is gonna throw down next to taking random mindless memorable pics, simply exchanging small talk between breaths in the lighting booth or wherever.
There's a sense of belonginess & comfort to see the same people making it out to 1015 on a regular basis. We're begining to think there are other people like us out there :-)
Week after week we are drawn to 1015 because we know that there is no other place one can go in the city at 3am-6am that will constantly have the kinda music we wanna hear along with the enthusiam and passion from EDM music lovers and Taj alike.
TAJ, you have really created something special on Saturday nights at 1015. Your striking dedication and connectedness to EDM is continually reinforced with each performance you deliver.
It was nice chatting & joking with you all, thanks for tolerating our random, pointless conversations. It's spring break this week so we'll be well rested next weekend. Look forward to doing it again soon, as well as seeing you all on the dancefloor!:D :toocool: |

Uhmm, yeah -- what she said. :-) Couldn't have said it better myself.
Blurr: You rocked, dude! Superb energy, great track selections, and way to make the crowd go wild. Can't wait to see a longer set in the future!
Taj was incredible as well - I took considerable time out to just watch and listen to the magic being created before my eyes and ears. My favorite thing to watch is Taj making expert use of the low/mid/high pass filters -- it all makes me want to get out my MIDI controllers at home and play with effects in Ableton. :-)
Good to see everyone and meet some new faces -- EDM is alive and well @ 1015!

First off, Thank you To TAJ and to 1015 for recognizing my talent, and allowing me to showcase to San Francisco my love for EDM and Trance. It's thrilling to be up there with you guys, and the experiences I have at the club will be with me for a lifetime.
Driving back home last night.. watching the sun come up on the left side as I went south on 101 back home, everyone was asleep after about 10 minutes from leaving the club...My girl Lynn was pretty tired. She hardly accompanies me to the club nowadays..
I had nothing but good memories and happiness to take home with me for a extrodinary night. I had a blast with everyone, and was happy you all came out in full force to welcome me in.
At first, when I arrived to the 1015, I really thought that the turnout wouldnt have been so great. I was wrong. We rang in Easter with a bang. While I was setting up in the middle of Iyad's opening set, you guys were yelling my name and screaming.. I thought that was awsome of you guys... and was very cool. I've seen this happen to big Djs who come and play. Actually, come to think of it, I used to be one of the ones screaming from the crowd.
While I prepared for the night this month, I envisioned being up there in front of all of you, and reading the crowd for what they wanted to hear. I didn't have to read into what you all wanted, basicially almost every track I threw down you all went nuts. Exactly what I was hoping for.
I also did alot of research locating and contacting Djs and Artist for tracks to play for this set. I wanted to appeal to all areas of Trance, which included Progressive, Hard Trance, Uplifting, Mash-Ups, Melodic, and Epic. I also played a couple Electro-Trance Tracks, in unision with some reworked and remixed classics that pretty much blew alot of peoples minds.
Below are some of the tracks I played are below. Also, to me they were the ones that stood out the most.
System F - Out of the Blue (Akira Kayosa's 2006 Remake)
I heard this track mid summer last year, while I was in the UK for business. I did some research on this track, and asked one of my contacts to locate it for me which he did.
Below is Akira's website.
http://www.akirakayosa.com/
Alibi - Eternity (Vank Remix)
I played this to pay homage to a friend I havent seen out here in a while, Armin. This was one of the first tracks I ever heard. The remix of this captured what I was trying to express without overdoing the track.
Ultra feat. Ulli Benner - Free 2007 (Ampire Remix)
I love this track. I heard the original many years back, and I heard it at one of the first raves I attended. The remix you heard was the 2007 Remix. The part saying he wanted to be free, and he wants to get loaded was awsome sounding in the club. a couple of you out there was singin to it. Very cool.
Simon Patterson Vs Joop - Panic attacks in the Future (Christof Cardelli"s 'Energy Trance" Mash-up)
A combination of Panic Attack, and one of my favorite tracks by Joop... In the future. It seemed like every track I put this one behind always ended up right. I used this for my progression and peak for my set, which was around 2:10.
Above and Beyond - Good for me (Darren Tate Remix)
Alibi's Shawn Yapa loves this track, so I thought I would put a twist on it and play the bangin version of this one.
Marcus Shultz - Without you near (Alex M.o.r.p.h.'s Sacred Light Remix)
A bangin track by Alex, who will be coming in 2 weeks. Also a request by someone in the audience last night.
Gigi D' Agostino - Ill fly with you (Resonance Q Remix)
I wanted something you all could identify with so this track just fit the bill. Many old schoolers came up to the front of the booth for this one, including Nancy from Alibi saying that she couldnt believe I dropped this track. A blast from the past for me, and hearing this remix was just as awsome in that room as I expected it to be.
There were so many more great tracks I played I wanted to debut. Im glad I could get what I wanted out last night. I began at 137BPM and peaked out last nights set at 141BPM. right where I wanted to end it. I may also be updating this with the tracklisting for those who want it.
Tranceaddicts in attendance, and to all my friends locally and abroad, thank you all for attending last night. You definitely made my first headlining experience a memorable one, and one for my scrapbook.
In closing, after all my years of watching Djs play.. Im excited at how my first time went. I have my own energy behind the decks from what others say, and I'm glad you all came out in support for me last night. Thank you all for making it out. :D Definitely, one of the best nights I have had this year. Period.
Cant wait to see all the photos and videos. Anyone who has any, please post em!:D
Thanks to everyone whos leaving comments here too. As always it lets me know you enjoy what Im doing, and wanna come back for more. Without any of you, I would not be where I am today as a Dj, and I value the fans and friends I have out there that want to come, and came, and continue to join us at 1015 to see me play.
A 4 hour set Trancelover? You guys liked it so much your asking for more huh?? I'd be down for this, and will gladly accompany this if given the chance. We will see what the future holds.
Iyad did great also with opening the room for me, and for me was very Jerry Bonhamish. TAJ close the night also with some bangin new hits I didnt even have yet, including some new TIESTO.
Please continue to post your comments on your experience and how you felt on Saturday here guys. Id like to get an overall feel of how you felt that night. Maybe next year, ill make it on that Nitevibe thing and ill be somewhere up there with TAJ. That would be awsome.
XO,
\o/ BLURR |

Where do I begin... :D
Blurr, I told you this behind the decks when Taj was on, my expectations were really high for Saturday night, and you just went above & beyond everything! :eyes: Your track selection was FLAWLESS, everything uplifting and beautiful. The System F remix was uncanny to open with, it set the tone for what the night was going to be. The vibe and energy level and being with all the TAs upfront was the best. You looked like you were having a blast behind the decks, MAD MAD PROPS!
T Dizzle, hella fun going ape both nights. I'm glad your foot recovered on Saturday from the puck.
Adriana, the girls had hella fun but they arent into EDM much, so it will be a learning experience for them. Thanks for the effort in trying to get them to dance! ;)
rizen, I'm sure the pics and vid will say more than a thousand words. And like I told you, best Easter ever. :happy2:
Twins, +1 to your comment, EXACTLY how I feel. Great times! Thx for the CD, I listened to it 1.5 times on the way back to Sac ;)
And finally Taj, your mastery of the decks is unbelievable. Standing up front and just watching your hands on the knobs blew my mind. Unmatched energy level. :eyespop: Like the Twins said, there is nothing better between 3-6am ANYWHERE. Your hospitality to everyone at the club is much appreciated and noticed. The passion you have for the music is radiated when you're spinning.
Thanks to everyone who made my weekend AWESOME! Great to see all the TAs in force and nice meeting all the new ones. |

First of all Blurr...... CONGRATULATION for having a Sucessful 1st HeadLining Gig at the Legendary Ten15!
It wasn't perfect as I expected but the overwhelming positives made all the negatives very unnoticable. Most importantly, you made everyone dance thier guts out. Great track selection and you were very good at reading the crowd. You did an excellent job for your first headlining gig. Obviously, you did your homework and learned a lot from your gigs as an opener. It was great to hear you showcase your track selection as a headliner, not holding back. I'm sure that you'll top this performance on your next gig again. You seem to do that eveytime. The only thing I will mention that really bothered me during your set was that the sound was very "dry". I came up the booth and mentioned it to Arty and I think you made some adjustment that made it a bit better but still didn't hit me right. Or maybe it was just me
But as good as Blurr set was, Taj killed it! I'm sorry blur but Taj set made you look like an opener again :tongue3 I say that in a good way Bro! Taj if you keep playing a set like that...... you'll put END UP out of business. Soon people will request that you play until Noon  I'm a regular at Ten and I haven't seen the main room as pack like that at 5:30 am. Even the smokers upstairs abandoned the smoking room and started hanging out the balcony upstairs to witness your performance. You were having so much fun and that was flowing thru the crowd. You're obviuosly been out lately shopping for new vinyls. Go back to the store and get more...... you made a lot of new fans last Saturday.
Last but not the least.... great turn out from SFTA. It's always nice to see TA's at the dance floor. The vibe was high last Saturday. |
