good stuff. Take measurements too, cause of course muscle weighs more than fat and lots of ppl go by the scale but that doesn't tell the whole story.
Skipper, you can get all the exercise you want by just dancing like a maniac behind the decks like Preach :p
Mind you, that doesn't work for Carl Cox, does it :p :stongue: |
That's because Carl Cox loves his fried chicken and corn on the cob :p

well, looks wise, im pretty happy, i dont want to put on bulk since im only 5'6-5'7. also, being a golfer, i work on muscle endurance so i end up doing high reps of lower weight. i just want to put on 10 pounds now. get to 150-155 and ill be happy. thats my goal. but i have to eat enough which im not. im probably only intaking 2500 cals or so, prob should get up to 3000-3500 |

i've had it tested on several occasions by several different people. i agree that the tests have some possibility of error but it can't be too much.
EDIT: Arney, back me up, haha |

i play ultimate frisbee on a women's club team here in pittsburgh. i've played a few teams from toronto at tournaments. for ultimate i need speed, endurance, agility, and some upper body strength probably wouldn't hurt.
i run a lot. i try to run at least 3-4 days a week (~40 minute runs during lunch). right now my team is practicing once a week, but that will eventually become 2-3 when we get into the season. i try to hit 1 or 2 pickup games a week as well. once the season gets underway i'll start plyo & sprint workouts too. greg claims that i play ultimate 9 days a week during the summer. ;)
last year i ignored upper body strength, so for this year i've started lifting once a week with a teammate. my goal is to gain some strength in my upper body. i also go climbing 2x/week as well. in the off season i've also been doing a lot of core work by doing yoga, pilates and balance ball stuff. i also do some at-home dvd total body workouts (aerobics & weights) too. for me, cross training is key...
i try to eat a well balanced, low fat diet. if anything i'm heavy on the protein. i'm not trying to lose weight, but i definitely don't want to gain any.
i want to be a lean, mean, ultimate playing machine...
