| I don't expect to be treated like royalty when I walk into a store but I do expect some decency and respect though. I worked retail for a bit while in college and ya I dealt with some nasty nasty customers who were so awful and disrespectful to me and other customers but that didn't mean I didn't treat the next one like they were the nicest person ever. With every customer I started over again. The employees who get aggravated too quickly and obviously don't have the patience to work retail, shouldn't. I do understand that a good 8/10 times it's the customer that made you that way, but you deal with it and work on. |

If you don't like the job then don't do it. As much as some jobs seem easy to find and convient to someones current situation, there is no point sticking at it. I've put up with some awful staff in shops, restaurants, and bars etc, I'm always courteous towards them too if their going to act like wankers then it's simple I'll be a complete bastard too them.
I never forget about a year ago at the petrol station near my mates house. In the early hours of the morning I walked down to buy some cigs and some beers, beings it's quite a dodgy area they serve through the night kiosk after 10pm. The girl in front of me was a bit indecisive about things so the guy serving has to walk back and forth etc, once it came to me ordering my stuff I asked for a packet a marlboro lights suddenely out of the blue this Asian bloke screams and throws the cigs at the kiosk. I felt so enraged I could of smashed through the kiosk and ing smeared that little prick up the wall, he apologised and all was forgotten maybe he was having a bad night. |

A barmaid is like a dj.She gets rich if she has the ability to keep the patrons spending money and drinking.If shaking your ass a bit and giggling at guys is too much for you, chances are you will never make good money or last long in the business.Those who have mastered the craft make more money than many professionals without having to open their legs.Perfect the flirt riches are yours...or get a tit job because if i have to buy beer from a chick that looks likes she's 12 she might as well have huge knockers. |

oh man oh man if ever there was a night to post in this thread for me.
for the past week, customers have been SERIOUSLY pissing me off. almost every single person i talk to has give me attitude like how dare i talk to them.
today was exceptionally bad, however.
as soon as i clock in, i have to help some lady in laptops. mind you even the most indecisive customers have ever taken me around 30 minutes to close the sale. this lady was ing asking me questions for 2 hours. TWO HOURS! what the FUUUUUCK :whip: She finally winds up leaving with a DESKTOP.
throughout the day other people give me attitude when i ask how they're doing or if they need any help.
the one dude that really set me off was this guy i asked how he was doing, and i stood by the end of the aisle as i waited for him to answer me. he starts walking toward the opening of the aisle and the first thing he says to me is "why are you blocking me?!"
i restrain myself from my first impulse which was to sock him in the mouth and say politely "i was just asking how you were doing. there's no need for that attitude"
and he continues arguing with me.
so i walk off and punch some merchandise on the shelf and get a bloody knuckle.
