Perfectly emulated - and I'm ashamed to admit that today is the first time I've ever played this gem of a game.
God damn - unreal how I could miss out on this one for so long. |

Hey, I'm playing it now! :p
Pretty damn hard as well... I think I'm at the first boss (goblin flying thing with dinosaur bone guy?), and without a shield, I feel naked! |

Please tell me you're using the analog and NOT the d-pad. The 360 d-pad is SOOOOOOOO bad. It does an injustice on the original way of playing SOTN.
Either way, have yourself a good time and don't die too much, now. Get the 200%. ;) |

Oh yeah, straight up analog - no D pad for me!

I actually woke up early on Wednesday and downloaded it at like 6am. I love it. But I did forget how annoying some parts were. |

Better late than never, my friend. That game is a classic and a true masterpiece. Take your sweet time with it...you'll be glad you did. ;) |

| I'm really suprised how much the gameplay feels like Super Metroid - just an exceptionally smooth platformer. |

And you LOVE Super Metroid. ;) IMO this game did what Castlevania II: Simon's Quest tried to do with the RPG element and further improved and added to it.

You kidding?
This is the most famous Castlevania to date.
If not, it can be found on the PlayStation and, as of recently, through the Microsoft LIVE Arcade (via XBOX 360) download service. |
