I agree with what av1 said to me at Armada night....bring the trance/GOOD edm acts to Twilo. With that kind of vibe and set up I think maybe...just MAYBE (and this might be the wine talking) PVD could somehow redeem himself. HELL, if Armin could redeem himself at Pawn Shop and Twilo, then why not PVD?
Armin obviously didn't blow it because I didn't hurl your carcass at him. :haha:

and u guys are also complaining about seeing him during WMC when he has NEVER shined WMC before.

since i've been here i have never read a "omg pvd blew my mind his night wmc i die" thread.
You have seen it for Tiesto, Ferry and Markus.
I agree with Spacemasters. Doesn't mean he needs to be thrown at a new venue. |

| Someone told me that pvd killed it at Conference 2005, the same year Tiesto had that Magik Music night set which was a VERY good set, despite the club being ridiculously overcrowded, and oversold, and I heard more positive things about pvd than negative. It's Space. It's a hole with a head owner. It's seen it's day and that was 2001-2003. |

there's no denying the main room at space is built for trance!
twilo is pretty good with ty promoters.. but i'd prefer a pvd in the space main room rather than twilo.
and SM and I already discussed that we think Twilo has Crobars old soundsystem. It sure looks it and sounds it.

They have a lonnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggg way to go. Horrible bartending, and bars is in a little corner and small. And Totally unprofessional!!!!!! That place has dope light, but AC is horrible when the lights are at complete gooo. Yes Twilo has lots of potential. I do not take that from them!!!
And yes the sound is good, but still need improvement. Because it has had a couple of bad things happen sinced it opened.
Space have the best sound system in the United States, its been only designed for them, and it yet has to be duplicated. If you guys didnt know that... There isnt a place in the main roon where were sound isnt right!!!And the sound never goes up and down like in other clubs. The sound has remiained constant, till PvD came this WMC. Becuase of his mixers and lappy set-up. |

You guys act like I haven't partied a load of times at Space to know what its capable of!
YES the main room is built for trance I agree 110% cuz there is not other place I've partied that is that great but have you not noticed the dying chain of trance parties there? PvD is basically the only trance act left...
And for those of you who say that PvD has NEVER been good during a WMC, I call bull...I saw PvD WMC 2004 & he did great...waaaaaaaaaaay better than last year & as I heard he didn't blow chunks 2005 either.
You guys saw PvD two more times after WMC last year...I don't deny the fact that the patio set must have been amazing but OMG he was on the patio, something he had never done so that I can understand.
Then you say he also did great this past November but was it AS good as the patio set? Or better than how he played in 2005?
As far as I know, August & November of 2005 have been his greatest sets. All the PvD whores I talk to say the same EVEN the ones that saw him on the patio & last November.
I'm not fighting to not keep the PvD dream alive, I'm just tired of how he does when he comes down here...the consistency isn't there anymore (right SM?)
Ooooh and one more thing, he played ty because he was @ Spirits?????? THAT IS NO EXCUSE!!!
There are DJ's that can be put in a shoebox and do better than that....I agree Spirits & PvD was the worst idea yet but it's not like he was playing at Club Deep or anything.
He could have pulled a half decent set there, not even that.
He even played better at the free Fourth of July party (a free event in a park with a disgusting dirt cloud that was bothering him too)
Venue should not affect the DJ whatsoever...they're supposed to be playing for their fans/audience not for the venue they're at. |

I find it amusing that you keep defending Space. The sound system is deafening in a bad way, they undergo renovations/changes more often than a hooker changes her underwear, and the vibe there is just absolute . People are there to 'be seen' and not for the actual music. What I saw at BED and Twilo is what Space used to be about, people there for the music.
And of course the creme de le creme, Space doesn't care about overselling tickets for big events so they get ridiculously overcrowded every time.

W/E I say it like this...I'll go see PvD next time he's in town which is NON-WMC & at Space and I'll tell you all how I feel about it
Perhaps it could be WMC...truth is I haven't seen PvD in a year already.
So if he's good, I'll stick my foot in my mouth...but I can surely say that I doubt he'd bring it as hard as SvD this WMC.
Then again SvD reminds me of the old PvD...the kid is starting just like PvD. |

blew my mind away... #1 set of the 18,... yes 18 times ive ever seen him play....
he can do it during WMC.... but he's full of himself now... it sickens me.... |
