100$ entrance to a pool party, dude, how's THAT for the EDM scene going downhill?

Ok 100 dollars to see tiesto the real number one in a big club for at least 5 hours ... some may pay this and it wouldnt be seen as unreal. But JP shouldnt be charging that much to see him at a pool party. Also I really dont think we should be getting into how the scene is changing for the worse... thats all a bunch of garbage. Things change please move on or get out of the way :)

I understand but do we need to continue to bash down memory lane? Aren't we mature enough to say damn that sucks, i lost my money (like I did for Sander K @ Space) and I didn't get a good preformance out of it. I think we need to stop thinking we are always right, fact is HAPPENS

but certain things happen that stand out in one's mind.... if JP and his crew want to splash the fact that he's DJ TIMES #1 American DJ everywhere and anywhere and whenever, the second him and his crew to be anything less, they better EXPECT the heat.... as far as harping on stuff from the past and saying " happens", you didn't say that to Crobar when you weren't let in... i'm not saying you harp on it all day and everyday, and i don't mean to make it personal, i'm just relating your example with this particular one... something turned you off so much that you decided to leave Crobar and never look back forever.... and sure enough, when the time comes now and then (with a Crobar thread, etc.), you mention your bad experience there and your bitter opinions of Crobar... such is the case this time around... so much ing up was done on JP's part this WMC, by EVERYONE's account, that he and his crew (i'm going to add in "his crew" from now on since, yes, it is unfair to pin everything on him) deserve the negative press that the unprofessionalism (and sucking people dry of 100$ - the pool party WAS under the control of JP's staff, so he better not give us this BS that he has love for his fans and would never want them to pay so much) gives birth to....

of course i'm not going to keep this thread alive for months to come, but we have a right to respond to his week's debacles, especially as a result of something like this:

Meh, I've talked about it too much for me to care about anymore haha I'm done here.... On a random note.... Hulk Hogan:

Everyone has the right to call anyone out at anytime about anything. If you don't like the negativity the easiest thing to do is stop reading. You have the power to ignore it.

Im sick of hearing people say that the scene is . You know what, the scene. Things in life change and you either embrace change or you bitch about it. Personally, i'd rather enjoy it for what it is and let the whiners whine. In the scheme of things EDM is entertainment, nothing more and nothing less. Most people do this for fun, while a small few obviously make a living from it. Nothing here is life or death so stop ing acting like it. There are many things more important in life than listening to some DJ play some music in some cramped club, get over it.

If you don't like the scene you can easily just walk away.
