When I was in vancouver, there was homeless people on the street yelling "kick me in the balls for 2 bucks" or "kick me in the head for 2 bucks"
and yes when those drunks left the bar at 3am and ran into one these homeless people screaming those quotes....they did just that..
its very very sad...the poor guy was start crying and rolling around the ground due to the pain, but then 5 minutes later he gets up and starts yelling out the quotes again. |

The government should be cutting tax breaks for businesses that actually contribute to society instead of mooching off of it.

You will have to excuse my spelling but I think my point is still valid, people can read and come to their own decisions about things without needing to centre people out. |

I think she did a pretty good job of centering herself out well before I posted my comment.
I also think you've mis-understood my intention: It wasn't to center her out. I was trying to say that some of her comments in this thread don't really "gel" with her personality (inconsistent might have been a better word than ignorant I suppose - either way, I digress). |

Thanks for the clarification, and the acknowledgement about the word ignorant. That is a very strong word to use and what I was feeling was unnecessary.
I apologize for making a statement about you, I know you are not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, it was just that word that caught my attention. |

To put a homeless shelter in that corner is crazy.
As for whether or not we should help the homeless people, I don't think anyone will disagree with doing that...or am I wrong and people honestly don't want to help others if they can (even in small ways?). I give change if I have it to a homeless person...or if I can't finish food/drink give it away. |
