has anyone got two of these and found out that some cds won't mix together properly (keeps going out) coz i have apparantly its because the pitch on them isn't fine enough how pissed was I very. Had to buy a cdj1000 which I get on Thursday and sell one of the cdj800's which I'm doing now on ebay
you'd think pioneer would have know about this or do they I don't know but the last month has been so annoying not been able to mix with cds properly.

Thanks for reading my rant I feel better now.

Whatever it is you're trying to say (I can't be certain), I think you're probably wrong, and it's more than likely a "brain to platter" connection problem, and not actually the CDJ's themselves.

lol brain to platter connection haha

ya i had no clue what u were trying to say either :/

I've mixed on the MK2's several times, absolutely no issues with them.

The pitch resolution may only be .05%, but there are countless jocks out there who play on decks with .1% and do just fine. If that's your only gripe, then the problem is in fact with the individual, and no the decks themselves.

You certainly don't "need" CDJ 1000's to mix flawlessly, one of the top jocks on here used CDJ 100's for almost every demo he put out ;)

It still means that it's your issue, not the decks.

It's plenty easy to do 2-4+ minute mixes on CDJ 800's with exceptionally minor correcting.

I don't think wanting perfect mixes is an issue

Then what is your issue?

All it sounds like is that you're complaining that you can't mix well.

finnyarmstrong
all i'm trying to say is that you can't mix perfectly with two cdj800mk2's and that pioneer should tell you this.
