I sort of listened to EDM for a while, just took breaks

Growing up, I listened to everything my dad did basically, because he always had it on in the house - The Beatles, The Doors, The Rolling Stones etc (He had 1,000 vinyl).
Eventually I got into and became religious with rock music.. originally tuning into the old Q107 all the time. (when they played current rock and did the top 5 @ 5 and top 10 @ 10). I eventually transitioned over 102.1 The Edge. My rock music collection still beats everything else I have (I'm pretty sure I have just about every song in The Edge's music library). My favourite band starting out.. and still is, Metallica. My outher favourites include Green Day, System of a Down, Radiohead, RHCP and System of a Down.
It's been a slow switch, but I'm head over heels for house now (I love trance and dnb as well), I still refuse to turn my back on rock, and keep right up to date with everything that is still coming out (even though I'm starting to not like a lot of it - getting old sucks). |

| Rock / alternative > "Gino Beats" (Euro/freestyle/commercial trance)> Rock / Alternative > Psytrance > Trance > Electro House > Tribal House > Progressive House which is currently my favorite... but i try to listen to a veriety of house trance and some techno.. dont know much about techno yet. Also i dont mind some easy rock like 97.3fm since my incar cd player is and i cant listen to edm in the car. |

They totally roped me in as well + Crystal Method, Underworld (basically all electronic music that was played on the edge's live to air). |

| Oldies stuff (it is still a big part of what I listen to), alternative rock, euro (though i didn't know how to classify it because I was extremely young when I started listening to it), a bit of pop and hip hop, classical (also still a big part of what I listen to), dnb, house/techno (for about a month), trance, and dnb again. |
