started with dads vinyl collection:anthrax,led zepplin(!),black sabbath...etc
then got into Michael Jackson cause he was the back in the day.
transitioned into new rock and then into thrash when my snowboarding career was taking off.
then into shockrock/industrial when i realized that Manson and Ministry were the .
then it was all about the rap game when my snowboarding career was alledup (freak accident making me lose all of my sponsors),leaning more towards the Dirty South sound...3 6 Mafia! but there was still the great soundz commin from the west coast and a bit from the east...the South was where it was at tho.
in the fall of 00...or was it 01...i cant remember...a buddy of mine FORCED me to go with him to the first euroinvasion that z103 was holding.that was the nite tat i met Sylver...love.
from there it was a fast smooth ease into trance...my buddies and i were sittin at the comp one day finding random ch00nes and we came across Bloodrave-Voodoo & Serano, and from there that was it,i was sold.
now i rippa dee Trance every weekend...even tho the ppl in this piece-of--town dont appeciate it (dont worry its a spot in northern ontario,so yall understand.really im spinnin for myself)
but i cant be without it now,it has consumed me and its only a matter of time b4 i get into producing it! |

my bro was into euro and some early trance stuff when i was younger so besides my mom would listen to (like barbara stiesand(sp) n ) its the first kind of stuff i heard. that and some early toronto rap stuff.
when i started to get more into music myself, i started with euro and alternative stuff, with a bit harder stuff in there.
so stuff like greenday, marylin manson, metallica, nin, foo fighters etc, along with the assortment of euro and trance.
then when napster came online i could get more access to trance stuff and slowly listened to more and more of it and eventually along the way started throwing in some techno here and there.
ill still listen to some older metallica, rammstein n stuff from time to time, but mainly listen to trance/techno/some house.
most radio sucks donkey balls although the odd track i might enjoy.
maybe the odd hiphop track but overall it blows, especially lately and all that homo r&b . it doesnt get much gayer than that really(sorry to those who like it), but guys trying to be all smooth while singin about there girl and trying to dance like MJ is just so lame and retarded. the music sucks. |

| I started out listening to everything- classic rock like the doors, floyd, and zeppelin, which lasted through about 2001 then got sick of it; alternative such as soundgarden, pearl jam, alice in chains, etc which lasted until about 1997 and got sick of it; back in the day hip hop like dr dre (the chronic), snoop (doggystyle), tribe called quest, de la soul, etc, which I never quite got sick of; went through a brief phase of "newer age" hip hop in the late 90s like redman, methodman, ol dirty bastard, and other standard party music you would hear at a frat, but don't listen to that anymore (except the old dirty bastard, god bless his soul); went through a brief drum n bass, breaks period 2001-2002 such as dieselboy, ak1200, shy fx, etc, then stopped listening to music altogether for a few years until about october of 2004 until I sort of rediscovered edm, with a much greater emphasis on house and electro than dnb. |
