I didn't catch any of Dubfire untill I was on my way out of the building...he made me trip the out and I was sober by then. I dunno what the eff he was playing at the time, but they had slow slow yellow strobes going from dim to bright. My buddy Marc Mitchell puked from it....I was super close to barfing as well. wierdest feeling thats ever been induced from music.
me and Mr Mitchell took a good tour last night...starting off with the Vinyl Junkies in the orange room. Super excited to see you guys tonight at O Lounge :D . Tasted some of the drink with M&S then over to K.H. for some of Mark Olivers set before Moby....holy did the kool haus light up when Moby came on. We took off at 2:15 on the dot to make sure we heard mstrkrft. Holy do I love those guys. I saw them once in Calgary for a halloween party. If it's possible, they topped my expecations. We didn't move from the front till it was time for Donald Glaude in the Orange room...we made "SOME IN' NOISE".
....we had a blast...most fun I've had at Guv since I first started going. It seemed like every act we followed around were playing stellar tunes.
thats all I have for now.

Wasn't packed at all...good space in all the rooms, except the drink early in the night. Some traffic areas got crowded at times, but pretty good traffic flow overall. |

Why do I always do this to myself, I hate missing like this. Two of my all time favs, songs which I will likely never hear in a club again. :( |

| Somehow wasnt impressed by Moby at all. Yes, his mixing skills are perfect. yes he is a legend. Yes I was dying to see him. But I wasn't feeling his set, nor was there any energy coming from him. He wasnt playing, he was working... |

lol. funny you should say that but junkie opened with some of the weirdest stuff i have ever heard in a club. it was like carnival video game tunes. |

i'm very glad we went to see Moby, ing loved it. After that went for Dubfire who was ripping it at the main room and stayed there till we left. one of the best parties i've been in a while, good vibe, non stop dancing, thats all it takes.

Pretty good decadance this year, IMO.
1st place --> Danny Howells. Dirty, Tech goodness.
2nd place --> The Roaches. Missed Nathan's track, but him & carlo set it up proper.
3rd place --> MSTRKRFT. When you sport a mustashe as bad ass as that, people know you mean business!!!
I don't think I"ve ever seen the guv like that before. Lots of space in the main room, and almost a rave-type atmosphere with a lot of young club noobs. (Thanks moby!)
