As demonstrated in the videos above, he was cool. Laid back, but not in a Dubya sorta way. More like Clinton. Man, I miss Clinton :( Sorry to hijack but now I'm beginning wonder how different life would be today had Dukakis won instead of G. Bush Sr...:(

Fahad is confusing "laid-back" with "drunk". I'm pretty laid-back too when I pass out from drinking.

Interesting. While I think Yeltsin did all for Russia's economy plus the rest of the internal domestic problems Russia have now, I don't think the pseudo-dictatorship of Putin is any better...

Just keep in mind that oil was at ~$20/barrel when Yeltsin was President, and it's now ~$60/barrel with Putin in power.

dictatorship accusations thrown around by western observers aside (besides I really think all those critics should stfu and stop trying to tell Russia what to do), I think Putin has been a good president for the past number of years

Yeltcin was just too much of an embarrassment, I mean what kind of president is a chronic drunk? current Ukrainian one is no better either, such a tool :(

No, he's just calling you on commenting on things that really you don't know much about (from a personal relation perspective).
